A keeper
I bought this pack to replace a Recon. I love that this pack has bottle pockets made of mostly fabric vs. All mesh (the mesh pockets of my Recon were the first feature to fail - they stretched and eventually tore becoming completely unusable). I also love the color, sturdy feel, and comfort on my shoulders. The laptop pocket is a tad smaller than in the Recon. It fits my 15" LG Gram. One thing I would have designed differently: there is a small pocket at the front that is padded with soft fabric, I use it to store my glasses. However, the zipper runs halfway across the pocket, making half of it (the top half) unusable for storage. What a waste of space! I would have made that pocket half smaller (still large enough for a pair of glasses or a phone, and use the top space for another independent pocket (you can never have too many pockets!). I also prefer the front compartment of the Recon (stretchable pouch) compared to the bungee cord of the Borealis, a pouch is just more usable for my needs. But overall, I like the Borealis well enough to keep it. If the Recon existed in the same color scheme, I would probably have exchanged it against a Recon.

Fits all my college supplies
I bought this backpack because my back was hurting from carrying my laptop and charger around campus. I really like the laptop pocket as it even fits my large gaming laptop nice and snug. The front stretch strings are also great for holding larger items like shoes and jackets. Another feature that I really like about this backpack is that I can fit drinks and I wouldn’t have to worry about them spilling like other backpacks. It’s very durable as I have been using it for the past year and it’s been holding up great.Overall, I think this backpack is great for students especially if you have to carry a lot of heavy stuff. The back is padded and has vents so it makes for a comfortable backpack to wear.

Lots of pockets and roomy space in main compartment
She loves the color of it and the design with more pockets for all her essentials. The straps are strong and holding up quite well especially since she’s kinda rough on her backpacks .

I love the color and quality
Backpack is medium size and has very good quality. The color and all details same as on the pictures. Bought it on a sale, not sure that I’ll buy it for the full price despite all pros; the full price is too expensive.

Useless backpack
I will be returning this pack as it is completely frustrating to use. The computer sleeve is very tight and gives you just enough room to squeeze in your electronics device. Great protection for your electronics, but a bit difficult to get in or out of the sleeve. The main compartment is ridiculous. There is plenty of room to store items at the bottom of the compartment, but best of luck getting anything in or out of there. It felt a bit useless unless you were just using the top half of the compartment. If you don't use the bottom part of the compartment, the bag won't stand on its own. The small upper compartments on the outside will cause your bag to tip over if you put much of anything in them. By much of anything, I am talking small lotion bottle, airplane bag of pretzels, and small flashlight. Very disappointed with this bag and found it a total waste of money.

Functional
It does fit everything and it's comfortable to carry heavy stuff in it. However, the straps are not durable. I used the outside straps for a sweater, and one strap got out of the hole. I managed to make a bigger knot on the end of the strap and put it back, but now I cannot use it at all, it's just decorative
