First, it's the HORMEL brand.An EXCELLENT brand, the taste is great. Second, do read the directions ... (only 30 sec) place in microwave on paper towels/plates, please remember to cover with a paper napkin to keep splatter at bay. Let rest a few seconds then, add to any dish. Practice at least once.Each microwave is different, so it might take a few times. The bacon will burn very quickly even if a few seconds too long. Also, microwave bacon is very hot and steamy and will burn you. Be careful. It's so easy and quick clean up. I actually buy one package of 72 pieces every few months for my family. Refrigerate after opening. BLT's are great... just 30 seconds away at any time of the day 👍

Perfect for a home with 1-2 people as cooking is a breeze and no mess. Hesitated to order large pkg, afraid use by date would be shortly. Swallowed my fear and ordered, and use by date is 6 month ahead. As a 4-5 day a week bacon eater, this is perfect for me, living alone and cooking for one. Great with eggs & grits, or on a BLT, crunched on a salad, a BLT pasta ranch dish, low calorie; a bargain at a good price.

I keep a couple of packs in the freezer at all times. You don't have to do so until its opened, but the way it is packaged in layers makes it a breeze when frozen. Easy, smeazy. Great bacon taste, without all the grease. That is a big deal. While I do love an occasionally greasy home-cooked bacon it is so messy and greasy that it is a real negative for my system. This bacon is so easy to heat in the microwave or throw into a quick dish I might be cooking without having to cook it first. I eat a low carb diet and eat a lot of protein. This bacon finds its way onto my plate on a regular basis. Without the mess. When I want crispy bacon I toss it into a skillet for a short extra cool. Still has way less grease.

Great product. Can’t Buy this size in local grocery stores or for the value that it is, however, It takes a while for shipping to get here. Which causes some issue with it being warm when it arrives. Might want to check in to see how you can alleviate that slow delivery. Nothing better.

I ordered the bacon for 2 adults. As usual, I vacuum seal most anything we use, I packed in each, 8 slices. But after 8 bags, only about 5 & 1/2 slices left. So was just over 2 slices short. So at $7.25 a lb, the bags state equal to 4 lbs uncooked bacon, just a little disappointed. Most people probably don't even count. But with everything so expensive, every slice counts in our budget.

A great way to have bacon in the morning in a quick tasty treat. Great value when you compare the 12 to 15 slice boxes of the same product in the grocery. Love the surprise in just a few minutes or crisp it up in the pan before making the pancakes

This bacon is very easy to prepare and is very tasty. I like mine very crispy, so I cook it about 45 seconds in the microwave. Make a great bacon and biscuit or bacon sandwich for a quick meal. Hormel is much better than their competitor when it comes to precooked bacon in both taste and texture once cooked. It is not cheap but for 72 slices is very generous.
