The story is amazing and the trigger warnings are a real thing but I damn loved itLooking forward to the next book already

Okay, color me intrigued because this book was so different. I felt the pain in Noelle's POV. It seems that Rafaelo also went through the same trauma that she did but we have no idea of the extent of it. This is just the beginning and the book has me entranced. The plot is gripping and the characters are not who they seem to be. There's obviously more to the past and while I liked both Raf & Noelle, the same can't be said about her family. They infuriated me from the start and I hope they get their karma. I am waiting to get my hands on the next book because I'm so curious to know more about Noelle's history especially after that cliffhanger.

It's different than I expected. It seemed interesting in the beginning followed by some slow chapters. However the ending was unexpectedly with a wonderful cliffhanger. Need to see how the story continues

I LOVED this book and I can't wait to read the next one. This book kept me on my toes, and has me craving for more.I was very excited to read this as Rafe had appeared previously in the Morally Questionable Series.I really liked the fact that Raf ACTUALLY HATED Noelle, he literally wanted to kill her, it really was enemies to lovers.Raf is an intriguing character, and I can't wait to see what he does next. He has also suffered quite alot in the past. It was definitely a drastic change from how he was in the Morally Questionable Series, some of his reasons then and now are same, but they are different too.There was so much hate that Raf and Noelle felt for each other, it kept me on my toes, about what they were going to do next. Raf can definitely see through Noelle, the reasons behind how she behaves. Both the MCs have painful past, which have connected them even more and given rise to hate and revenge.I really like Noelle as the FMC, she has suffered quite alot, she has her trauma, and she is still suffering, I can't wait to see how she overcomes her past, and the future developments in her.The plot of the book was very interesting, it was definitely a page turner, and I couldn't wait to know what would happen next.The book left me guessing, and I can't wait to unravel the truth. I have few theories about what is going to happen in the book, and I can't wait to see if they are true or not. I thought that I'll know the answers to my questions in this book, and the ending has left me with more questions.I have loved and enjoyed every book that I have read by Veronica Lancet till now and I can't wait to read other books that she has written and her future releases.

It has you on the edge of your seat needing to know more. I am heading to get the next book so I can find out what happens. Can't wait to read more from this author.

It's been such an intense experience reading this book. The story is so electric and full of twists.. can't wait to continue!!

This book is def not for people who are sensitive to abuse but I personally loved it. It hit home in some ways and I can’t wait to read the next book

Let me first say Veronica Lancet is such a fantastic writer, I absolutely love her books. She writes complex and layered characters with amazing plots and twists, nothing is as it seems.This book is essentially an enemies to lovers story set in the Mafia world, and the war between two brothers Rafaelo and Michelle Guerra.This book focuses on Rafaelo and Noelle. Their chemistry and connection is noted straight away, even though Raf hates Noelle and act according with his hate. I loved Noelle and Raf, they are both strong, compelling and fascinating characters even after everything they had been through. I love how the author balances their interactions, the push and pull is just perfect. There are also some chapters on Rafaelo brother Michele the scheming and unscrupulous one, can’t wait to read more about his story too.Overall it was such a fantastic read 10/10 and I can’t wait for more of this series
