What a sad book. I feel so so sorry for Noelle and all she has been through! I honestly hope at the end of this series she does get to have a child. I hate her family and how the treat her and how raf is treating her. Although I think they suit. Plot is very good and keeps you invested. I want to know who Michele is obsessed with and what raf did to him. So many questions

Wow, honestly enjoyed this so much it was incredible ,their story is dark and twisted and the ending- ahhhhh I’m crying. So excited for the next one (also want to cry because it’s not out yet).

Unfortunately you have to read 3 books to get to the end of this story and each book more expensive. Not impressed with the marketing strategy.

I love veronica’s books her heros stay with me long long after I have finished reading their story and that is what quality writing is really about .. to be able to captivate you and keep your heart long after you have read the last sentence of the book … can not wait for for the next book 💕

So I read the other book before and when I found out there is going to be another cover, I had to read it again. So I'm entering the world of the War of Sins Series (previously known as Arte de la Guerra).To be honest I was nervous to read it again, the book is not for the light-hearted.This book is dark! Please read the warningsI loved it.Again!This is really different from other books I read, it's interesting to read about 4 characters and I cannot decide which character and couple are my favourites.Michele "bad" and Rafaelo "good" are brothers and are now enemies.If you read previous books in the series, you can see the brothers' relationship briefly from their past to their present. Both characters are dark and complex and are referred to as being "dark" and the other being "light".These titles are part of their stories and the complexities they bring to the page, the simplicity of the words has no meaning as I could not help but wonder about their past and the trauma that made them what they are now.Noelle is a survivor of domestic abuse and a widow. She has no memory of her past and is labelled as "crazy" by her family.I loved Noelle she is a fighter and does not let anyone push her around. Her past and trauma were heartbreaking, and the way people treated her was even worse. She is a bird trapped in a cage and she only wants to be free.Rafaelo and Noelle have a mysterious past and because of that, they are the perfect enemies to lovers.I loved watching both of them fight their attraction to each other, it was intense and quite amusing.Both characters are perfect for each other, with their traumatic past, complexities, secrets and fears.It is hard not to love them.Michele and his Pet, have grown on me. Their relationship felt awkward are first and mysterious. You never know what will happen. We only get to see a snippet of them in this book but I know that their story is going to bittersweet.The side characters were everything!I am really interested in Cisco and Yuyu's story. I need to know more about them!Plus the other characters from the previous books. Everything is connected and watching them interact is perfect.Lancet has made a complex world and characters, I'm scared of giving away spoilers. The reason I gave it 4/5 is the cliffhanger.Overall, I could not stop reading this book and can't wait till the next one!!

An incredible enemies to lovers story. A very robust back story that explains she gathers between the main characters, beautiful writing and certainly very complexed characters. I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait to read and see what is next. Extraordinary and I highly recommend it

My heart broke for Raf and Noelle, the turmoil that they both went through😭This is the first book of the series, it does end on a cliff hanger. I can’t wait to explore more of the characters and this universe especially Michele’s and his relationship with his ‘pet’! I’m so excited to be on this journey of The War of Sin Series 🖤
