LittleBigPlanet 2 (PS3)

The music and graphics on this game are very good in my opinion, the level design is generally excellent and at times fiendish but also varied and a whole lot of fun, and it retains all the charm that the original LBP game had. Taken as a straight platform game this game will divide opinion somewhat due to floaty jumping mechanics and others might say they have no inclination to create levels and if it looks like a kid's game then it is a kid's game - well to that I say so is Mario and yet that is one of them best games of all time, in other words don't judge a book by it's cover and proof of which is to actually play Little Big Planet 2....because....Where this game is undeniably awesome, and this alone on the games front is what truly separates the PS3 from all it's competitors, is the fact that LBP2 is also a platform for games. In other words yes you can create your own levels BUT if you think it's merely reskinned rearranged LBP levels you'd be wrong - there is that for sure, but what will put everyone in awe when you see it is that people have recreated levels in LBP2 to look like Windows 98, have recreated the scene from Back To The Future where Doc is stuck on the clocktower and has to zipline down in time so the DeLorean can make it back to the future, also created Legend Of Zelda remakes actual entirely sprite based with accurate music synths - I have no idea how to do this but I will say it's on a whole different level to anything out there. And as I say this is the chief reason why the PS3 has the most diverse gaming library is largely thanks to this franchise but this game in particular you will not find anything like it anywhere else and to see the things that have been done with the create element it's truly mind boggling.Little Big Planet 2 truly is a game that will inspire you, stimulate your imagination, and challenge your creativity - and if it doesn't and you aren't impressed with what you see and you want to put your COD game back on then I'd be sorry to say you've lost your sense of wonder. Because this game is wonderful and taken as a whole LBP2 is also truly ground-breaking.

I bought it for my childhood memorys and it didn't disappoint but the game case was damaged that's why I'm only giving 4 stars

If you are a creative person, you will love this, if you like to make things and see them work maybe a flying spaceship shooting ping-pong balls. you will love this!this game has a lot of potential and proves it by giving the community a big playground to work with! you can make levels, maybe you want to make a level based on a movie or another game? you can with the right creativity and mindset anything is possible.if you have played the first, imagine that this is 10X better! it has everything the first had been lacking! and now with the third coming out around the corner for ps4, im sure that would be alot better :)

This game is amazing, much better and more diverse than number 1. Has many more features and levels, there are millions of user created levels and better yet you dont even need to buy dlc for this game due to all of the user levels. Be sure to go on the MM Picked levels as they are just amazing. This game is perfect for anyone I am aged 18 and love the game as i play it online with friends, its a great laugh.

Can be played with up to 4 people on one screen. Fun creating characters. 7 year-old daughter loves it, 45 year-old dad loves it too.Turn off the internet connection to play!!!

Not a huge fan of the game. Would have been way better if they'd recorded real dialogue for in-game action rather than just for cut scenes. Can't stand that jibberish dialogue they put in instead.

Bought this item for my Son who is absolutely addicted to the game (he's 10). Pre-ordering is well worth is as it takes the hassle out of queuing and you are guaranteed the item on your doorstep the date it is released. The graphics are stunning and the music takes be back to when I was in my twenties! Certainly good value for money as it will keep him occupied for hours!!!

I ordered this game for my sealed game collection. Upon arrival the game was in a plastic wrapper and it appeared to be as advertised and looked secure, so I kept it in the bag.Today I was putting some of my games in plastic protectors. I took the "sealed" LittleBigPlanet 2 out of the plastic wrapper that it arrived in and noticed that the seal was completely broken on the side and bottom of the case. I wish I took the game out of the plastic wrapper sooner so I could have noticed this blatant false advertisement earlier.I paid a premium price for a brand new sealed game, and instead I got game with a broken seal instead.
