This is a great neat as you can mount them almost anywhere.
This is a great nest for the chickens and there’s plenty of room. They all seem to use them very easily and plus it’s off the floor of the coop where they can go up and be in peace and lay their eggs.

Fits large breeds
super easy to install, built in perch bar is a major plus for the birds to easily enter and exit the nesting box, fits large breeds like orpingtons and jersey giants, easy to remove off the wall and hose off when needed, and easy to reach in to collect eggs. The girls actually like this nest box, because they can fit and because of the easy in/out because the built-in perch bar.

They like it
Perch is plastic and very wobbly. Can’t tighten the perch however hens got use to that and they love this item. Looks great. Came assembled already! Great size for bird and can fit two it one. It is backless. I put it on a leaky wall and the nesting aspen material got soaked wet. Use it in a dry area and they will love it.

Not for standard or heritage bred chickens it’s small
While I love the design my medium sized Plymouth rocks and Rhode Island reds cannot fit inside to lay eggs. My Americana hens do.

Love These Nesting Boxes!
Love these nesting boxes! This coop isn't set up for outside egg collection so the hens would lay underneath and I would have to get down and rake the eggs out. My original intent was to put these to where I would cut a door in the wall and have outside access but that didn't work for my coop - the nesting boxes were too tall. This is the first full day the hens have been in the coop and already two of the four have used the nesting box and they just started laying within the past week. I have no doubt the other two will catch on soon. I did put fake eggs inside the nesting boxes to help give them the idea what they were for. The sloped top ensures that they won't be perching on top of it, they are plenty big enough for my RIR's. Wish I had had these years ago!
