A seemingly random use, but I use this for coloring homemade soap white. This titanium dioxide worked just as well as any I have bought from soap or makeup suppliers. It was cheaper than those options as well as having a larger quantity. This comes in a resealable bag. This worked great for my intended purpose.

Though the "Katyayani Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) | 100% Food Grade Antioxidant | Antioxidant & Curing Agent for Meats, Poultry, Soda & More (397g)(0.9lb)" is labeled as food grade I am using it for cosmetic purposes.I originally ordered the Titanium Dioxide to use as a food preservative but have since learned it is probably not a good option for me. Instead, I am using it to make homemade facial powders. I don't wear makeup very often so I wanted to see if I could learn to make my own so I would have it when I needed it. I haven't finalized a recipe or blend yet but have been playing around with arrowroot powder, clay, mica, cacao/cinnamon/nutmeg, titanium dioxide, essential oils etc. I want to make it with ingredients I can keep on hand or normally have on hand. The fine white powder arrives in a foil-line pouch/bag with a ziplock-type closure that you have to watch to make sure it seals correctly. My pouch arrived in April 2024. It's manufacture date was Sept 2023 and the expiration date isn't until October 2025. Country of Origin: India
