I own a Dell Inspiron 14R SE 7420 Laptop purchased in the year 2014. This marks my first battery replacement, as I had no other option for the past six months due to my original battery being completely dead.After researching various compatible products, reading reviews, and considering price options available online, I chose to go with the WISTAR 4400mAh Li-ion 6 Cell Battery. I fully charged the battery for about 4 hours after the replacement before using it for the first time.The initial backup time was near 4 hours with Dell-recommended settings in Windows 10 Home Edition. These settings included Windows 10 recommended default settings, Dell Extended Battery Option enabled, Limit Apps notifications turned on during Battery Mode, Display Brightness set to 35% in Battery Mode with a Wireless Mouse on, and Wi-Fi enabled and connected to my Android phone for internet access. I used the system for Microsoft Office tasks, continuous Internet use, and some apps for web development work.This battery is a genuine compatible replacement for Dell Laptops with recommended settings to get the most out of it. I will provide a genuine update to this review after using it for a few months.To optimize its performance, please follow the step-wise pre-installation, installation, and post-installation notes (I am from IT field and this is my Personal recommendation):Pre-Installation Notes:1. Set your system settings as mentioned above (as per my settings) or tweak as desired by you and don't restart (skip restart or select later).2. Clear all your System and Manual Restore points (If your system is running perfectly & if you don't need one, don't restart the system yet, skip).3. Clear all your system cache by unsetting and resetting the virtual memory for disks (Don't restart the system yet, skip).4. Run disk cleanup on every disk and clear all.5. Now restart your system and then shut it down.Battery Installation (Replacement):1. Open the dead battery properly by unlocking the side latches from the laptop.2. Replace it with the new WISTAR battery.3. Connect your Power Cable (turn it on) and let the battery recharge for at least 4 hours for the first time in offline mode (don't start the laptop now until 4 hours).4. With the power cable still connected after 4 hours, start your laptop and use it for 30 minutes while in Power connected mode, and then shut down the system.Remove the connected power cable from the laptop.Post-Installation Notes:1. Now use the laptop in battery mode and use it until the full battery discharges for the first time, and the system auto shuts down. DO NOT CONNECT IT TO POWER. Let the battery fully discharge for the first time.2. Now, after fully discharged for the first time, use it normally.That's it.

My laptop is working fine with this battery. Nice product.Battery packup is good.
