Purchase now ...no debating
Overall product is amazing with minor set backs.Pros:- Screen and function of product is great!- Easy install- Has many great features like big screen, apps, sounds great and its just like having a tablet in the car-Fits perfect in the suburbanCons:- The app for iPhone connection is in Japanese or chinese....needs to have an option for english- connectivity for wifi should be upgraded- More so for an android rather than iphone connectionOverall my husband loves it and was eager to put in the truck. Upon initial usage i want to purchase for my nissan myself! Great product at an awesome price! My hubby said he will provide an updated review after he plays with it a little.

Limited power but still a decent value
This head unit is a good value if you are willing to accept the limitations and quirks. With only 1 gig of working memory and an older generation processor it is limited to how much it can do. If you don't expect a lot you may actually like it.I installed it in my motorhome so I can have a big screen GPS, phone connection via Bluetooth and some music. It is doing these few things fine but it is unable to run an RV app I was hoping to use. The app, RV Life GPS and Trip Planning is simply too big and demanding for the unit to handle. Luckily, Google Maps runs just fine. Uninstall any apps you don't plan to use and always close any apps you are not currently using to free up memory. Tap the double rectangle on the top bar and swipe away any unused apps or tap Close All.Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work well but ONLY if you insert the backup camera plug. I'm not using the backup cam so I didn't plug it in. That plug has 2 small wires hanging out of it which don't connect to anything and apparently they are the wi-fi and bluetooth antennas. Who knew?!? I was ready to sent the whole unit back because I thought that wi-fi was broken but the vendor told me to insert the backup cam connector. Bingo, instant great signal. Hopefully they update their info instructions to avoid further customer headaches. Also, for those of us in the USA, the speed indicator on the Home screen can be switched from KPH to MPH by briefly touching and holding KPH and it will change to MPH.

Works good and looks awesome, seller helped answer questions
I installed this into a 2006 Cadillac DTS and at first the only sound I could get out of the radio was with the radio. Bluetooth and media would not have any sound. I messaged the seller and they suggested wiring an amp plug to the accessory remote wire and that ended up working. So if you have a DTS or similar GM vehicle, even if it's not the BOSE stereo, there may be an amplifier. So from a wiring harness, there is a blue wire that might be labeled "amp/ant". Instead of running that to the blue wire on the stereo that is labelled "ant" run that blue wire with your red accessory wires. So the one red accessory wire coming from the stereo is tied in with the red and blue wires from the wiring harness. Worked like a charm after that.

Color wiring codes need to be right on harness. No instructions to play from AUX in.
I would have given this 4 stars maybe 5 stars but i had 2 issues with the head unit.First the harness for the main lines triggers, speakers. Was wired completely wrong. So the diagram on color codes was wrong. It has made activating AUX audio imput almost impossible to get playing for the overhead DVD and the trigger wire for the backup camera was the wrong color.I spent 2 days troubleshooting these issues for a job that should have only been a few hours since i was running new line to bypass my factory amp. This is a good unit but the interface on getting AUX to play from the system is not even in the instructions book. I still dont have AUX for my DVD player but thankfully i figured out the harness was color coded wrong to get my backup camera working.

Dont waste your money
Was very disappointed with this product a few of the wires where missing like the wire where you place the mic, some of the wires where not labled so it made the install way more harder than it should of had to be it came with no instructions on install. Theres hardly no RCA jacks for speakers i think there where 1 left input an 1 right input an a sub input these days you should have at lease 2 per side unless your hooking up a simple 2 speaker system. Very disappointed!!!
