Hugger Mugger Bamboo Yoga Block

Hi, I purchased the Hugger Mugger Bamboo Yoga Block for my wife. The shipment arrive early and the packaging was top notch. The quality of the block is very good. My wife loves the size and feel of the Bamboo vs the foam blocks which she owns as well. The block is smooth and chunky and allows for a great Yoga workout. The feel of the Bamboo is solid unlike the foam that has a little play. The price is not cheap but for a eco friendly Yoga prop it is well worth it. Great product !

I like its solid feel of the bamboo material when using it, probably better than the cork and definitely better than the foam material. However, this is just my personal taste; it would be nice to have blocks made of different materials so that one can use different kind depending on circumstances like: for different poses, home uses, short distance travel and long distance travel.It is nicely built and not that heavy, 2 lbs and 1 oz, from my actually weighing of one block. However, if the carrying weight is a concern, blocks made of lighter material would be a good alternative.I bought two of these and they are the first blocks I own. I think that I had made the right choice, in comparison with the other materials and the brands, though it is more expensive than the others.

There is not! I was so excited to get these then I opened the box and there was only one :( Bwa bwa.Anyways- no fault of the company's. This block is very light compared to the ones at my studio. A bit fatter and shorter but it will do the trick! I'm just happy to have a brick. It looks nice and is definitely sturdy. I'll even buy the second one to make my collection complete.

I have standing desk and I am using the block to prop one leg up at a time. It is light and sturdy enough that I can kick it around, passing between my feet) and not worry about breaking it. I also feel comfortable placing my weight (220 lbs) on the block for short times when I am shuffling around. I like how the 3 different dimensions allow for flexibility of leg height while standing or sitting.

This is a great yoga block. It's got a good weight to it and it more environmentally friendly than wood which uses more slow growing resources and foam, which will eventually end up in a landfill. I'm not a huge fan of cork as i don't like the way it feels in my hands, but that's just me. I'm happy with my purchase and am considering getting a second block.----update--edited to add that i've had the block for nearly 2 years, use it almost daily and it's still in great shape.

At first, these were sturdy and solid. I bought 2 of these and loved using them. I was disappointed as I originally invested in these for long term use but after 7 months of little to moderate use, one of them had a crack in them, maybe due to the cold weather. It still serves its purpose, but for the price, I’d like them to last longer.

The bamboo doesn't give in like the foam blocks. Very smooth and sturdy. No worries at all about putting my entire weight (170 lb.) on this block. Looks pretty cool as well. Its worth the money.

Happy with this purchase, but the blocks are a little wider than the blocks I've used at all of the studios I've practiced at. That said, I love the bamboo and the quality if these blocks.
