I bought this outdoor look for my fence, someone broke the old lock. This lock came with three steel cables of different lengths. The steel cables look durable and can't be cut off easily. Plus the 4-digit combination code not only can prevent theft but also easy to set up different codes at any time.I cut a Coke bottle in half and inserted the lock into it, this way it reduce the rain, snow, and freezes. I know this lock is for outdoor use, but the place I am living has 4 months of snow. I have been using this way in the winter for years.* Note that when changing the steel cable, the 4-digit number must be adjusted to the correct set number first. Otherwise, button A cannot be pushed to the right to B in order to remove the cable.The price is good.Hope this will help all.

No bike lock is theft proof, but it's important to slow down ne'er-do-wells when they like to demonstrate that they are smart enough to operate a quick-release latch and heave your seat into a ditch.

The locking latch sticks out and would be better served being on the top or bottom. Still does what it says and if the position of the locking latch isnt an issue for you, its very good.

Works well as light weight cable lock with easy combination code change…great to lock helmets on bike for short period.

After about 1 year of daily use, the unlatch button got stuck and I could not get the lock off. My husband ended up just yanking the cable out and it was alarming how easy you could break it open.

The button you have to switch over to set your own lock code gets so stuck! had to use the end of a screwdriver to push it over.
