After a little investigation into how it works, it's pretty straightforward to use.Doesn’t heat up like Adults Straighteners which is good for kids - does need adult supervision.You can have a lot of fun - it's a good intro into hair designs and styles.

Absolutely terrible! It would not stick the gems to the hair. We used it correctly following the instructions and it was useless. Very cheaply made and no reflection of the price. My daughter was so disappointed so with that being said, do not buy.

Would give this zero stars if I could. I almost never leave reviews, even if I’m unhappy with a product, but I feel compelled to do so on this occasion.The straightening irons looked nice and the heated elements are designed in such a way little fingers are kept well away. However, we just could not get the gems to stick, whatever we tried.Very dissatisfied - I feel the product is not fit for purpose and therefore would like to be refunded.

This is a great gift for girls, my little sister and her friends play with it and they have a great time. The instructions are easy to follow and this glam set will give hours of fun I’m sure!

This makes a great gift for any young person that is starting to get into fashion/accessories.Kit comes with everything you need- from the device, to the gems, to the little extras like the comb/pins/hair strands.The instructions are great for any adult supervisor- you do need an adult supervisor as the device does heat up (similar to a hair straightener but not quite that hot).Easy to use and with you getting nearly 200 gems, you can do fun fashion hair styles on multiple occasions. It’s great to have the added few hair strands too as the young person can add them to their hair styling as if they were a couple of highlights.You do need to add batteries to this device but apart from that it includes everything you need.£30 feels quite good value for something that comes with a heating device. Would make an ideal birthday or Christmas gift.Overall quite pleased and happy to recommend.

Brought this for my childs birthday which seemed like a lovley concept at first but when upboxing we realised you have to use the heat staighters that come with them but these do dont work they dont get near hot enough i had to use my ghds to get them to stick and when you want to remove them they are a pain they get stuck i had to use a lice comb on my daughters hair to remove such a pain personly i dont think these are worth the time or effort

I have a review for the hair gems thoughMy girls were really excited when this arrived and loved the thought of gems in their hair. Although it says theres 180 gems these come in strips. You get two of each colour and 14 in total so if you use them as strips you don’t get many uses.The instructions are pretty easy to follow and they look cool when they’re in your hair.The styling tool to put them in your hair is completely useless. It warmed up but it didn’t work at all to stick the gems to the hair. We tried for over 10 minutes using the heat device in the kit and had no luck. In the end I got my real hair straighters out. It was much easier to use with them and just closing the hair straightener over them and taking it straight off made the gems stick perfectly.

Great for kids to decorate their hair.My daughter loves this. She spent many a happy hour decorating her own hair with the gems and then of course she needed a model and roped me into letting her decorate my hair and it turned out fab.Totally recommend this hair styling device.
