As described cable kit
All seems as expected, typical D type connector parts. Sure, there are no pillars to use the connectors as chassis mount parts, but then the advert doesn't say there is. A degree of skill and dexterity is needed to solder and assemble them, but the same is true if you pay five times as much for top brand parts.

Works great as long as you’re not try to extend an existing cable
Does the job I needed. Fairly fiddly to assemble but some time and patience and you’ll get there. You’ll need some way to hold everything while soldering the cables on as it’s fiddly work.Would have gotten 5 starts but the ONLY thing I didn’t realise when ordering is they don’t come with any of the connectors to allow you to connect two cables together. You can push them together fine but due to both only having male screws instead of the option for the female screw holes they can’t be secured.I’ve attached a pic showing the issue of two cables attaching together and one showing the missing female connectors from another device.

D 9 Sockets
Able to make up my own cables at 1/4 the price of a made up cable. Good quality and assembles easy to produce a profesional looking cable.

Far to primitive and complicated
As a connector and shell it works and is reasonably robut. But there are issues:-1) The pictures dont show how everythin is assembled internally, so its a mtter of wasting 15 mins trying to work that out.2) the strain relief clasp is in two part and requires two screws .... a real faff.3) All in all it may take a good 15 mins assembling the shell unless you have 3 hands4) The bucket pins are fragile and can easily break on the inside of the connectorsWould I buy again ..... not at all.
