My son had to take his toilet seat off to put this one on, but that isn't the case on most toilets. Just lift the seat, push this one in place. Although it is easy to remove, it's comfortable for everyone. Most risers are either a bitch to install; are uncomfortable for some people; or a mess to clean. This one passes all those tests. And it was the least expensive of high risers on Amazon!

I had a gluteus minimus repair with a total hip replacement. This has saved me from day one. You raise the lid along with the toilet seat and then place this on. Because of others using my bathroom, I didn't attach it, and it stayed in place. If you choose not to attach, I recommend having someone test it for you to make sure it's on and won't slide. It's easy to lift up, wipe clean and put back for others using the toilet. I'm still using this at least 2 more weeks until my glute heals and I start hip rehab. It's well worth the $$.

I had a total knee replacement and this comfortable seat was perfect to raise the level of my toilet seat.It was the right height and fit perfectly on my round toilet. It is very stable because it has an extended rim to keep it firmly on the toilet.It is easy to install by lifting your toilet seat and placing the raised toilet seat on the bowl of your toilet.

This slides off so easy and is not stable. I had knee replacement so was going to use this. It slid to the side about dumped me in the floor. Hurt my knee and I fell in to bathroom cabinet so now have a scraped hurt arm. Threw it out!!

Has changed my daily life for the better. My bathrooms all had standard height toilets in them and as I got older and more infirm I was having more and more trouble getting on and off the toilet.Replacing the seat attached to the toilet with this raised seat has been wonderful. No more pains in my knees or hips trying to struggle off the seat anymore, and it’s easy to remove when company is here and can use the regular seat.

I love it I love it! I am tall and, after a minimally invasive chest surgery, developed tendonitis from using my arms to get off the toilet. This seat lifts me up enough that I can stand directly unassisted! It fits perfectly on my toilet, doesn't slide around or anything, and is very comfortable. My arm is now beginning to heal as I no longer have to pull myself up.
