Great product, easy to set up and easy to read the scale. Set mine up in an 80 litre tank, and got a stable temperature within 24 hours.

For the price, totally happy. It looks aesthetic in my tank. Instructions are a bit vague and I was paranoid it wasn’t working at first. I did set the heat to hottest possible so it would come up to temperature quickly (no fish were in tank and I was monitoring it) it didn’t seem to heat the tank. But when I lowered the setting to a reasonable 25 degrees the orange light came on to indicate it was bringing the temperature up. It took about 24th to reach that temp in a 90L tank. Now works seamlessly with water changes.

Good quality thermometer and is very accurate. I have previously had the same thermometer and it has lasted years.

Had this for a couple of months works great heated up my 110ltr tank then my 150ltr when upgraded. No problems at all gently increase temp to required setting then auto shuts off till it drops by around 1.5c.Great buy I'll be getting more of these soon for back up( also cheap to run with auto on/off)

I bought this heater based on its reputation as being a cheap and simple but reliable heater, but unfortunately it just hasn't lived up to my expectations. Right off the bat I noticed that it does that cheap heater thing where even if the actual water temperature is way (I mean like 10+ degrees) below the set-point, it still constantly clicks on and off, drastically reducing its effectiveness, then I noticed that the thermostat was about 3 degrees off, though even once it reaches its setpoint the temperature seems to fluctuate by about 1-2 degrees. At this point I then also noticed a band of condensation inside the heater, which I found a bit disconcerting. I looked at Interpet's website and they claim that this is normal, based on the humid environment (in other words inadequately climate controlled) manufacturing environment. Finally, after being in the tank for about 5 days I noticed that the temperature had dropped substantially and upon closer examination I noticed that some of the glass inside the heater was clouded over and it wasn't turning on any more.Really disappointed about this heater, it's a good job I kept a spare. Seems like these heaters are a bit of a lottery, I've decided to buy my next ticket from Fluval

This item is a same brand replacement for an interpet aquarium heater that lasted us nearly 19 years of reliable use.To say that after that duration we'd consider another brand we'd be daft to go elsewhere, ..even allowing for changes in production / practice.We noticed that the temp dropped radically on a cold day (so assumed correctly it had finally died) ...amazon prime had it to us next day & the water temp was back up to speed within a couple of hours of installation & now holding steady.So whilst we might not get the same time of use out of this one, we have confidence in the brand & product, it did make us think to upgrade the air pump purchased at the same time though, ..save panic down the line, give the fish a treat & a better aerated environment.
