Brilliant lifesaver
Brought a very active cat back from the vets with external fixators (big metal rods) either side of her arm when she had broken her radius and undergone surgery. The metal cage we had borrowed to keep her resting was instantly clearly no good as the ends of the rods could get hooked, and she was able to get her paws between the bars and climb still (not allowed). In sheer desperation we turned to Amazon and found this with quick delivery. After 2 nights sleeping with her in an empty room to keep her still, this amazing cage turns up and we breathe a huge sigh of relief. It's plenty big enough for the cat, a big litter tray, food and water and two blankets. It's easy to construct, the mesh seems robust and the zips are not flimsy. After a mind numbing 9 and a half weeks of keeping our beautiful but ridiculously energetic cat in said cage it has neatly packed back in the bag after a little wipe down and lives to fight another day!The mesh held up to hours of needle sharp determined clawing. The sides and top withstood leaning and hanging from claws. The zips still function well having been opened and closed multiple times a day. The base has survived umpteen water spills from a cat who normally gathers her water up in her paw to drink. The only comment we have is that the zips on the door needed securing with a small piece of cord as our clever cat quickly spotted an escape option and nosed the two zip ends apart if we didn't keep them tied together. But other than that this was utterly brilliant. We couldn't have survived all these weeks of enforced cage rest without knowing she was safe and secure in a soft, barless pen with plenty of fresh air, windows to see out of and enough room to be comfortable but not hurt herself.100% recommend if you have a post-surgery small animal that needs cage rest. And if Elsie can't destroy it with super-hypodermic-like-claws and unimaginable determination, then I think you can rest assured.

Decent quality and portable
I’ve only had this a few days, so this will just be first impressions. We bought this as a play pen for the lounge for a new puppy, to complement his crate which is elsewhere, so got the large to give room fo play though he is still quite small (2kg).The quality seems good, I like the fact it folds down very easily, compactly, and comes with a carry bag. You can put it up and take it down in seconds. It seem pretty stable, although I can imagine if you had a heavy dog that likes to head butt things it could roll over - although there is a strap you could potentially attach to something. It hasn’t got a detachable base which was described, but the whole thing is pretty easily washable and dries quickly. It has two entrances, a door in one of the panels plus the entire top unzips. You can partially unzip the top in order to give toys and treats, which is good. Obviously, if your animal is reluctant to go in the front door before you have time to zip it up, popping him down from the top is an option. The mesh panels have good visibility.I will say that’s it’s probably more suited to a travel pen (undoubtedly what it was designed for). I only say that because if you leave it up all the time it can be quite inviting, the front rolls up and velcros open and is begging to be played with and the sides are seemingly chewable. In an older, or better behaved, dog that could be addressed with training I suppose.Having said that, it’s so far survived — unscathed — sharp unclipped nails and puppy teeth, so it is clearly reasonably durable. If it does eventually get wrecked I’ll buy another and save it for travel purposes.

Quality Item, great purchase unless your dog is an escape artist...
Love this dog pen, quality item, my dog is a medium size dog - he was really comfortable in it and there was room to put his dog bed inside and his toys. It has a netting roof which helps to protect from insects and sunlight which is useful. I bought this as my dog needed to be separated from our other dog while he recovers from knee surgery. It works perfectly but after approx 4 weeks of my dog being in it pretty much constantly, he began to work out how to get the zips undone on the two doors, so it can't be used to contain him now. If he paws at the two zips enough he can get his nose, then his head through the door and open it to get out. This pen is probably ideal for dogs nursing puppies or a great solution if you are travelling and need a pen to contain your dog on a temporary basis.

Waste of time
Waste of money. My mini dachshund puppy ragged it that much, he pulled it in on himself!! Surprised me with how strong a tiny puppy can be!He would just chew and try and get out and then wee in it. Which then just drips around. Good point - easy to wipe up!It is good that this is foldable, nice and compact. As that is generally what this is used for, stored away behind my sofa. The only other thing i liked about this was watching my puppy jump in and out of it, that was rather funny. As there is a bit of a distance from the bottom of the door to the floor, he would do a little running jump to get in it!(Any other bigger dog wont have this problem though).

Omg this is amazing
Wow, after having cages this was purchased to give a safe space for a new puppy. It is very good quality and very easy to use. We also used it to travel with an older dog and put his food and bed in it. Literally takes no space up in car or home. Just becareful to fold it right and it will last for years.

Good but flips over
Like the playpen and worked well when the puppies were little. However they quickly learnt how to roll it over like a zorb. The sides also have a tendency to collapse. On the plus side, easy to set up and pack away.
