Was looking for something that’s a true red but isn’t overly bright. I have black hair and brown skin and the contrast is perfect for the dramatic but not TOO dramatic look. Wanted a shade that legitimately looks like blood and isn’t a matte lipstick to dry my lips out. Picture is 1 coat and it leaves my lips with a beautiful tint when removed.

Very nice product. Good texture and finish. The color is just a little weird. Maybe it’s just weird on me. Might be better on darker skin.

I was looking for a dark vamp tone and this product, slightly watery, went on and seemed buildable, but the color was not dark at all.

I ordered the MERZY The Watery Dew Tint | High Pigment Color, Watery Glossy Texture, Long-Lasting, Vivid Color | #16 BLOODY SPELL, 0.14 fl oz, and I like it. It's actually much different than anything I have tried as it's incredibly moisturizing yet. Also a tint. It goes on super wet too. It looks incredibly dark when you first put it on, but if you blot it off you will see. It will not be that dark and the stain left over is very subtle. However, you can keep layering to make it darker and darker. It looks much different when you are all finished and like the color as it will be dark with the extra gloss, and if you blot or just naturally drink some things that part will come off but it still leaves good color underneath. I like the look of three layers and that's what my picture looks like. One is before blotting and the other after. I don't want to blot because I like the moisture, but I noticed it gets a little too dark about lining the lips if you don't blot it. The first day I tried this I only did one layer and went about my business, and it looked funny as it left residue as a lip liner but it was all over the place. So, I recommend blotting before you leave the house or the deposits left over might look strange. I actually am in love with this color once it is layered and it makes my lips look very sexy. The tint is pretty long lasting as well. Also, one layer looks very natural. Almost like they are your natural lips and some may not even think you have a tint on but may notice your lips look pretty. I've had my lips tattooed before many years ago and it looks like that as your natural color is just a little bit deeper but does not look like you have lipstick on (the color I chose).

These actually feel pretty different from any other lip products I've used. The texture is kind of more a semi-emollient to gloss oil that builds and stains, leading to a long-wear shade. It's nicely hydrating/moisturizing, feels really comfortable on the lip. I really appreciate that it's so glossy vs the deluge of matte long wears that are on the market. I think the buildable bit can be a little tricky. This wants to go on pretty pigmented immediately and if you go too heavy it can be hard without a makeup cleaner to tone it down. It hasn't been a problem for me and after a bit of trial and error I think it's pretty easy to get the vibrancy to your desired level.The rose shade, while lovely, reads a fair bit brighter, more cool berry tone than in the images provided, with the stain itself running quite pink. I'm not entirely sure if that's a byproduct of my being ultra fair or a misrepresentation in the images, but I don't dislike the color, it's just a fair bit harder for me to pull it off.The ingredients per another site: Purified water, diphenyl dimethicone, diisostearyl malate, bis-diglyceryl polyacyl adipate-2, hydrogenated polyisobutene, diglycerin, dipropylene glycol, cetyl PEG 10/1 dimethicone, sorbitan isostearate, polysorbate 60, pentylene glycol, octyldodecanol, ceteareth-20, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, Squalane, Phenoxyethanol, Polyglycerin-3, Stevioside, Fragrance, Yellow No. 4, Red No. 104 (1), Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycerin, Yellow No. 5, Red No. 227, Jojoba Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Seed oil, evening primrose oil, olive oil, pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butylhydroxyhydrocinnamate, argan kernel oil, shea butter, camellia seed oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, mango extract, Rosehip Fruit Extract.I love the inclusion of the oils listed here, I think it goes a long way toward helping maintain hydration, particularly with this blend of included emollients to help keep it held in place. Overall just a really fun formulation. Can be quite dramatic, would be lovely for a all day wear with minimal touchups, especially assuming you find a flattering shade that works for your daytime environment.
