Best value for money e-bike
I bought this bike at 65 to try to introduce some exercise to my life as I am disabled a normal bike was never going to cut it. There are 5 levels off pedal assistance I hope as I build up fitness to reduce the help the bike gives me (in reality it will always have to give me some help but hopefully less as time goes on).The build quality and finish on the bike is excellent it comes with a throttle (not legal in the UK) I took a chance and put mine on to help me pull away from a standing start (as I have lack of strength in my legs) The motor cuts off at 15.5 mph the legal limit for the UK but if you are using it on private land you can go into the menu and increase it to 20mph.The range is not as good as advertised but I bought a spare battery that solved that problem. When Black Friday came around the bike was reduced to £600 for the white one and £649 for the Grey I bought another for my partner

Don't believe their battery range claims.
I bought an Eleglide T1 Step thru from E-Bay in April. It arrived as expected, had to attach the handlebars, front wheel etc. The first thing I noticed was that the brakes were not very good and did not stop the bike sufficiently so after a bit of adjustment I got them best I could but they were still not 100% Both Tyres punctured within the first week so replaced the inner tubes and got Halfords to slime them. I noticed a rattle in the wheels and after a google search tightened up the spokes and the rattle went away. I was still concerned about the brakes and got Halfords to take a look, they replaced both braking mechanisms and pads and now I can stop the bike!Apart from the cost of all that which started to make the bike an expensive item I have a huge gripe about battery life. They state a battery life of 100KM or 60 miles, I am lucky if I get half of that so I made a complaint and this was their reply."The publicity page identifies 100km, which refers to the power mode, flat road, without too much braking.about the range problemDuring product testing, our testers drove at a uniform speed on a flat road with a weight of 75KG without too much acceleration braking, so that the battery could discharge evenly and corresponding test parameters could be obtained. At the same time, it is normal for customers to have certain deviation in mileage due to different load, riding habits, speed, road conditions, air temperature and other service conditions."Well I am surprised that they could find a flat road 100Km long and I must admit I am a tad heavier than 75Kg. Do not believe their claims, it's fantasy!!!My other gripe is that on other e-bikes I have owned the power is gradual depending on which power mode you select i.e. if you select power mode 1 the bike lets you cycle at a lower power rate and is constant but you cycle continually at a lower speed but still get the assist where on the Eleglide the power is instant on whichever setting you use but cuts out when you reach a certain speed. I prefer the former myself but some people may not.Apart from the initial issues I like the bike and have cycled over 200 miles without a problem but not sure if I like it enough...

Death trap. Ok if you ride in a straight line.
After purchasing one of these. I have had problems from the get go. Problems with the battery. And the smell of burning. Also issues when turning a sharp corner the pedals clip the ground causing a major wobble. Other issues with gears, brakes are weak and fail to stop in the emergency, and motor sometimes cuts off randomly. The stand is rubbish the bike has fallen over countless times. We have experienced bad customer service from seller. Avoid purchasing. Complaint has been raised let's see where this goes.

Very heavy
I have found the bike very heavy to handle.I’m recuperating from a lung cancer operation and have come off the bike twice. I imagine that it will be still hard to manage when I’m better.
