These are foam
Use these as a send home resource and they work perfectly. They are foam, so be aware they can be easily drawn on.

Great for a variety of uses in a classroom
I found these had a variety of uses for both academic and fun. These are great counters for use in addition and subtracting for younger kids. I found they were especially useful for children who needed a physical manipulatives to solve word problems. They were also good for games that involved keeping track of numbers or scores. I also used them for games of bingo where students covered vocab words (sight word/definitions) or answers to math facts. While these are just some general uses, teachers can probably find other uses for these counters. I stored mine in plastic baggies with 30 pieces per bad (20 total baggies). My only complaint is that they are a slight bit flimsy and one of my kids did try to "dismantle" them. I'd probably order a larger amount as they cost less per counter as you get more, just to have extras.

These things are great
I can see so many uses for these 1 inch diameter by 0.15 inch thick two-sided foam counters. My first uses are playing with our grandkids. The two youngest have shown a great deal of interest in math-based questions, including stacking questions. These are great for that. The other primary use right now is in a church classroom-type environment as "incentive chits" for questions, explanations, participation, etc, etc. I can see many, many other uses from game markers, location markers, shape building, stand-offs, whatever. These appear to be quality pieces. They are flat, firm but soft. And with practice, I have able to toss them about 8 feet around a room. I think I have been having as much fun with them as the kids will. and with 600 of them, I don't need to worry if a few get "lost", or I find another use for a few. Great discovery.

Math Manipulatives
These make great math manipulatives for elementary students! Some of the pieces came broken apart, but I had ordered more than enough for what I needed.

GREAT FOR BINGO OR FOR MARKING THINGS
These are nice. They come in packs of 200. They dont have any weird smells or textures to them. We’re actually using them for crafting - piercing the center and making some garland. But i can see these working well for counting chips for children too! The foam has just the right amount of flex in it so they’re not “hard” or “soft”. My dog did eat a few of them before I saw him - FYI - he is a crazy doodle though! He pooped them out alright. No concerns there. :)

Great Math Tool for Kindergarten Class
I love these as math manipulatives in my kindergarten class. They are perfect for showing ways to make numbers in different ways and building a concrete foundation for addition and subtraction. The can also be used as counters, game pieces, and so much more. The set of 600 came bagged in three sets of 200 which is nice for me to divvy up with my teaching partners. The colors are vibrant, the circles are uniform, and they are thick enough to work with without being too flimsy. While foam isn’t to most durable material for manipulatives in a primary classroom, I do like that they are quiet ;)

Math Counters
I purchased the exact amount to make each student a bag of 20. I ran short because 10 of them came with an indent on the yellow side.
