This is a good little pump, relatively small and has good airflow. I powered two breeding box drips which a smaller hygger pump wasn’t even powerful enough for doing one. It’s not super quiet, I turn it off at night because I find it a little annoying but if it’s not in your bedroom I wouldn’t worry. It’s like a dull hum, the air stone and breeding box drip are almost more irritating. It has rubber feet for good isolation from any vibrations, if you’re only using one outlet cover the other with a little bung. I have mine on a smart plug and it’s helped me breed CPD’s so I’m very happy with it.

i think this pump is great value, i love that it has an adjustable dial, even on low setting it is very powerful, at the moment i am only using the airstone which came with it on the lightest setting, which gives of a great stream of bubbles, but i am going to also connect a second bubble light curtain and this pump will have no problem running both. it does hum, and the higher you set it the louder the hum, but i love the gentle humming sound, its not as noisy as other pumps i've had, this one is actually in my tank which is in my bedroom and it helps me to fall asleep at night, i am very happy with it and would highly recommend. super fast delivery also which was great :):)

Great pump for a great price so far. It's just a little noisy - but putting it at its lowest setting still gives out tons of bubbles and on its lowest setting its hardly audible, even in a small bedroom.The pump has been working great so far, the airline was more than sufficient and the airstone has not failed so far after around 2 weeks of nearly constant use.Would recommend - but just be weary, its a little loud.

Works great, the flow is fine, a bit much for what I'm using it for (sea monkeys) but absolutely grand. It's not silent but it's not loud. Nice and cheap and really easy to set up. I had no experience and set it up in two minutes.

I'm running this on the lowest setting to power a small sponge filter - the air flow seems great and you can't argue with the price, but it is incredibly noisy! I have it sat on a soft towel folded over a couple of times and it is still really loud. If you're after a quieter pump, probably worth spending a bit more.

I worked in the Pet/Aquatic/Horticultural wholesale side of trade, I've seen and "heard" a lot of fish tank pumps...the higher price branded and low end non branded...to be honest, the lower end are just ask good, some better.This pump is quiet, powerful...some would say it's not quiet, it's only because they have picked a much too powerfull a pump for the water litreage so in effect, your holding back the air because the are turning it down to the minimum, that why you get the vibration.This is a good price, and quality product. I have just fitted this to my bubble wand in a small aquarium as my old air pump needed replacing. This is a fantastic air pump. Although the smallest for sale it is more than powerful enough (I am even running it on lowest setting), for the first time my bubble wand is giving a curtain of air and my fish are certaintly a bit more lively since it was put on. Whats more this was cheaper than the original air pump I had from a well known pet store chain which has only lasted a couple of years.So pleased I am going to get another one for my other tank.

Complete kit for getting oxygen into the tank which works well. The unit works well and is fairly quiet compared with some other models. Only 1 small problem is that the control knobs is very very tight and has to be forced to move but once moving it is OK. I would have liked to lessen the airflow a bit more bit not a great problem.
