Med Spec Boxer Splint, Medium Left

Fractured my hand in two places and could not find the proper splint anywhere in stores and those that where available where too expensive or wasn't covered by my insurance. This splint gave excellent support to my hand and my ring finger, elevated my wrist, and help reduce the pain. Contains medal strips that help stabilize everything perfectly. The velcro was strong and long lasting even after U washed in the washing machine. I had to wear this particular item for 6 weeks and when I returned to doctor, everything was healing well. Would highly recommend, especially those whose fracture extends to their fingers.

While the splint does provide support for the wrist, ring and pinky, it is not very comfortable to wear. It rubs on the knuckles causing some minor irritation. Bunion pads provided some relief.

The boxer splint did well once I manipulated it to shape. It stabilizes the 4th and 5th fingers and outer side of the hand in order for the fracture or what ever injury sustained in that area to heal. I recommend this product to anyone that has an injury to this area of the hand. The only cons I noticed is if you don't bend the frame of the splint correctly, it will rub other areas on your hand sore.

I do not have insurance any more(thanks to the laughable "Affordable Care Act"), so from now on I'll be diagnosing and treating more of my own injuries and illnesses etc, so a splint like this is as good as anyone would need for the boxer's fracture to have time to heal. This splint is working very well for my fractured (self-diagnosed) knuckles. It is very well made, and my hand is so protected in it that I am actually able to do many activities with it on. I have 2 fingers and my thumb free, and my 2 hurt fingers are very snug and happy, and do not ache or hurt at all with the splint on. I'm so glad I bought it.

Unfortunately for me...second purchase of the same brace, opposite hand this time. It’s the best brace I’ve found, even after a lot of research. It’s ultra protective, even for a lower 5th fracture further down the hand, I’ve used it for that as well as a boxers fracture. It replaced what would have been a cast or much bulkier brace and my doctor and orthopedic specialist were both very impressed that found and purchased it myself. One even wrote the brand down. I highly recommend it and I’m sorry ya need it!

Works great for my boxer fracture. Easy to adjust and has plenty of room for different hand sizes.

Doesn’t fit appropriately sending back

Suffered a Boxers fracture. Used this brace for 4 weeks. Very comfortable (as far as braces go), very sturdy and durable. Kept my hand immobile. Would recommend this brace and any brace made by Med Spec. Very high quality.
