Fantastic product for smoothies
For about 7 or 8 years, I’ve been using a larger Ninja with multiple buttons and a timer. It had pulse, extract, mix, chop and different mixing containers. It even had its own smoothie button. That ninja rarely been used till about 2 years ago, when I figured out what a smoothie was, then all hell broke loose. For years I drank a gallon of 2% milk per day. I was 6’ 265 lbs and still growing “sideways” I did not eat much but I could not get enough milk. My wife bought a smoothie at some shop. She told me what they were made of and how many calories it had. I thought to myself, I know I won’t like this but I better try this if I’m going to shut her up. So i gritted my teeth and tasted it. WTF, this can’t be true. I sucked it down and got another one. Since then, i had to learn all about them and started experimenting with my own ingredients since I had this Ninja at home. I bought bundles of strawberries and bananas, cut them in slices and froze them, added a scoop of frozen yogurt, then OJ. Didn’t take long to wear out the blade, then the motor started overheating. I looked at getting a new one, but $180.00 was more than i wanted to pay. I saw this smaller one without the bells and whistles so i ordered it. Everything about it is much better. It’s much quieter and designed with a smoother mix in mind. After 6 months of drinking 2 or 3 smoothies a day, I lost 45 lbs so far.

Great Size! Convenient for Work and Travel!
This small blender is big on blending! It's easy to store in my lunch box or work desk drawer. It's easy to rinse out. It makes for smooth, easy blending of cubed or crushed ice. It isn't too noisy. It's a wonderful kitchen or workspace tool! The price is great, and the shipping was quick. You won't be sorry.

So far so good!
Seriously retiring the big Nijna blender- not only are the replacement parts *stupid* expensive (my second "plastic" pitcher has now also cracked, and it looks like I will need another new blade assembly), when the smoothie drinkers in the house like different kinds of smoothies the big blender is just super inconvenient. The Fit is quick, blends the chunkier stuff much smoother than the big machine and cleanup is pretty easy since you really only have the blade and the cup you were drinking out of. I took a chance and purchased a refurb 6 weeks ago, it's in use twice a day - hope I can find replacement parts (namely the blade), but Ninja is not especially helpful here... No surprise, I guess. However, we're loving the Fit!
