This is a serious piece of kit.The pot heats up super quickly and it's very easy to clean; the heavy bottom and thick walls keep temperature very well, and as a result, I've used the pot for pretty much anything — from sautéing to deep frying. Obviously I bought it because I wanted a pressure cooker — and that's where it really shines.The valve at the top has 2 indicators for the pressure level. As the pressure increases, the valve slowly starts coming out. From what I can see, this pressure cooker achieves higher pressure than other brands (e.g. Tower) so it cooks food much quicker. The cone metal part diffuses any steam that might come out. The material is quality stainless steel, so you can use Bar Keepers Friend to keep it looking brand new.As a bonus, the item comes with a booklet with cooking times for all kinds of food — from meat and legumes to fruits.Overall, it's a fantastic pressure cooker, but clearly it comes with a price tag to match.

I've used many pressure cookers, including: Farberware, Vinod, Prestige, Hawkins. This is by far the best pressure cooker I have used. I just love the simplicity of operation. Beautiful steel construction. Even heating. Pressure builds quickly. I'm still learning cooking times as I was used to the whistling cookers until now. Timing seems pretty intuitive and I am happy to report that the food has turned out great.I was initially concerned about the lack of the long handle. However this one is sturdy and substantial and I don't miss it. Plus I hadn't realised what a nice space saver it is to have short handles on the stove and in the cabinet.Highly recommend.

Have another one of this brand, but different size. Truly an excellent quality product that will last a lifetime. I find their method of controlling the pressure easier to use and maintain pressure compared to another brand of pressure cooker I have had.

I use it almost twice per week for the past two years. I've never had an issue!

Already have the 12litre version of this pressure cooker and they are so easy to use One word of warning for beginners, myself included, is normally the contents come to pressure fairly quickly so if we are waiting inordinately long, turn off the heat, unlock the lid and tighten the pressure valve inside (wee red thing). This has to be done on both of my cookers with some regularity so it would be good practice to check this from time to time. I will try to heed my own advice here!
