Hilka 82930240 2 Ton Trolley Jack Kit in BMC, Red

My initial reason for buying this was that it actually folded up and went into a case. In the past when I've had a trolley Jack, they always get left out, start to become rusty and eventually fail. Being able to put this neatly away at the end of a job will mean that it actually will last a lot longer and so is better value for money.Is managed to lift various cars without any issue, including a Ford Galaxy and a Mercedes e-class, both of which are pretty heavy cars.Even though it's had good use, it still looks like new because you put it away every time and it stays clean and dry.This must be the sixth trolley jack I've owned in my life and it is the best so far.

The trolley jack is fine. The axle stands are foldable as are the wheel chocks; I probably didn’t look as hard as I should’ve on the foldable items before purchasing. I’ve used everything and it all works, it’s just that they fold (particularly the chicks) that doesn’t inspire confidence. I have other stands and chocks which I prefer to use.

This kit gives everything you need to start working on the underside of vehicles, it helped me a lot and was very easy to use even as it was my first time using a jack, feels very sturdy and works as intended, only thing I would add is don't get it for the nice red paint as after use the paint comes off very quick but that is the only kinda bad point for this otherwise it is perfect and has everything you need to safely work on the underside of a vehicle.

Good value for money,sturdy handy case to keep it all together. Would recommend it to any car owner

Been using this for jacking up my Fiesta MK6. What can I say, does the job ok'ish, but seems to be really weak. When jacking up high enough, jack begins to squeak and creak and you get the impression that something is gonna snap or break. Plus when you lower your car and turn the release valve, it drops your car violently and immediately down, not smoothly as it should do, which is not good at all (doesn't matter how slowly and gently you turn the valve).But the price is really cheap, so you have to understand that you get what you paid for.I would rather add some money and buy something more decent instead of buying this jack.Also, the control "arm" which is a metal pipe - is too thin and way too short. So if you are jacking your car in the middle (up against the frame), you can barely reach the pipe and pump the jack.Axle stands are all right though.

Quite a well built piece of kit and has a very handy storage box where everything has its place. The only thing I don't like is when pumping the ram it takes quite a lot of pumping for the distance you get vertically. Roughly each pump gets you maybe 6mm or 7mm but then when jacking something heavy (front axle of Yard tractor in my case) it was actually quite effortless. All in all I'm very happy with it and only lost 1 star due to it arriving in the carrier box with just my address sticker on . Anyone could have opened it in transport and removed the contents without me knowing .

Good quality and easy to use. Good use for car maintenance.
