Very affordable solution for when you need a hose clamp, and a necessity when you need a BIG one.Larger hose clamps in stores get stupid expensive quickly - if you can even find them. This kit allows you to make your own at any size you want.The only sometimes tricky part is cutting and bending the strap so the screw clamp will grab it. You feed the cut strap through an opening that has a tooth that will catch a slot in the strap, and then you bend the strap to secure it.Occasionally the bend is at a bad spot and the tooth will jump out of the slot, and needs to be re-seated.The ability to make your own hose clamp is something any garage tinkerer or marching band parent who needs to make an emergency repair.

I bought this because my exhaust was falling apart and was trying to buy myself some time before getting it fixed and this is a great little kit to cut to size what you need it's so simple to use and very strong I needed better cutters just to cut off what I needed and it held everything together for over a year I'm very happy and I will buy more

I bought these to save a few dollars, but they are annoying to put together and don't like to bend. I was able to use them, but I wasted some material getting the right sizes and what-not. I would just buy a clamp set for a few extra dollars next time.

This saves having a dozen different sizes on hand which saves money. Do not over-tighten and be careful of sharp corners. I've fixed everything from a vacuum cleaner to a coffee maker with it !
