Nice magnetic block set
I really like this magnetic building set. I have several different magnetic building sets for my elementary classroom and I was excited to find one that was different than the standard blocks in most sets. I had students (7-10 yr olds) playing with this set right away and it was a hit. Everyone loves the Ferris wheel part of the set. The kids really have to think and explore how to make the blocks work on the wheel, which I really like. The initial wheel assembly takes an adult, but the building can be completely done by the kids. As far as the pieces go, the magnets are strong enough to hold together just fine. They are a little on the thin side, so I don’t know how long it will hold up to the rigors of a classroom environment, but so far everything is great. There is also an idea book, which I wish was a little bigger and contained more challenges for kids to build, but at least there is something included. Overall, I really like this magnetic building set. It is definitely popular in my classroom, which says a lot. If you are looking for a unique building set that will challenge your kids, I would definitely recommend this set.
