I've only used the Wen line of products for several years now but wanted to boost up the shine and silky feel that my long, white, curly, frizzy hair was lacking. I had used the Deepshine Lusterizer in years past and began to use it again (see my recent review on that for details) before heat styling. The results are amazing. As I was looking to order more Lusterizer, I came across this protective oil and decided to add a couple of drops to my routine. Soft hair- check! Shiny hair- check check! Manageability- check! Much less heat needed for styling- check! UV protection- check! No discoloration of the hair- check! No snarls during styling- check! Like many others I suspect, my cabinets are full of the newest salon products that make lots of promises yet failed to work. This Deepshine line won't let you down; thank you Rusk and Amazon!

Good stuff. 4 ounces might be a lifetime supply. Spread 2-4 drops on your palms and rub into clean damp hair. It gives dry, dull or mousy hair a little shine. Because it is very light it can be used on all hair types.Deepshine protective oil treatment has a faint scent that won't be noticed. I also use it as a skin moisturizer. A couple drops after a bath or shower is all it takes. I love this stuff.

I love this oil... I’ve been using this for over five years. I use this both on wet and dry hair, I like how it doesn’t weigh down my hair or makes my hair look oily and it controls my frizzy hair even in the worse weather. I’ve tried other oils to try and save a few dollars or as recommendations from others but I always comeback to this nothing has worked as well as this oil. My mother and sister also love this hair oil we recommend it to everyone, we have natural wavy curly hair and straighten often, works both when we go curly and when we go straight.

First off the pic shows it as clear. It has a pink tint to it. I love this oil! I literally can't get enough of it. The smell is wonderful. I even appy it to my 4 and 6 yr old son's hair. I apply after shampooing and conditioning with Doves daily moisture, add "It's a 10" leave-in conditioning spray (non keratin), Rusk W8Less Multi 12 in 1 Miracle Leave-In Treatment and then add this to my mid length and mostly the ends. I only use a small amount, about 2 dime sizes spreading it evenly under and especially to the dry ends. It took me a few times to find the right amount so my hair didn't turn out too oily but is I add more if needed.. I have 90% silver color treated hair so it tends to be wirery and frizzy. My hair is also past shoulder length and I also use this on my clip-in extensions I wear for added vol and length. I've ordered aa second bottle but still, after 4 months of use (washing every 3 days) I have over half of my first bottle left. When my hair dries I'll add small drops spread through my hands to the ends and anywhere that looks like it needs it. Like I said I love this stuff and will continue purchasing it as long as it remains this good. I highly recommend trying it. I'm so glad I did!

I have been using this product for years but live in Trinidad and cant get it here again so I ordered it it makes my hair shine

I've been buying this product for at least 2 decades, and this is the first time I got one with no color to it, it's completely clear. I usually got a product that has an amber color to it. Maybe they changed the formula? I also don't think is giving the same performance as the ones before that were amber in color.
