These adaptors are great as you can use one make of batteries fit different makes of cordless tools so saving loads of money & not having numerous different types of batteries/chargers in the van.

Bought a ryobi cordless glue gun, but didn't want to buy ryobi batteries and charger. I use this adapter with my dewalt batteries, and works fine. Pity Dewalt don't do a cordless glue gun.
