Very good marzipan! Fresh and very yummy! Looks just like the marzipan I used to get as kid.

When fresh, the best batches are very good commercial marzipan:

good candy at a reasonable price

Does not taste fresh but if you want a little taste of marzipan, this product is ok.

Reminds me of making marzipan with my German grandmother! These are prettier and a really good price! Marzipan can slowly dry out once the box is open so I suggest putting them in a ziplock. They are sweet so as a kid we would dip ours in dark chocolate. I used to find versions of these around the holidays but never dreamed I’d find them on Amazon and year round😁

This Marzipan seemed ok but when I took a piece out it had sharp plastic shards stuck to it and all the following pieces I took out also had sharp plastic shards stuck to them. It was pretty clear that the plastic cup pan that holds the individual pieces of Marzipan had become very brittle and broken into little shards of plastic that were now stuck to all the individual Marzipan pieces. Bizarre really? At first I plucked off sharp shards of plastic to eat the Marzipan but then I got scared there might be some plastic inside the Marzipan and I didn't eat any more. The only thing I can think of is that the plastic cup pan that holds the individual pieces of Marzipan had been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for years and become so brittle it just broke apart after putting Marzipan pieces in it? I would Not buy this brand again.
