Blaze Bailey while not having powerful vocals as Bruce still delivers a good performance. Gatefold vinyl & stunning art work, this album ticks all the boxes for me! Sign of the cross being an epic place to start & the hammering thunder of man on the edge. This vinyl release is beautifully presented!

People knock the Blaze era albums but actually I think this is one of Maidens best. I like the harder edge this album has compared to Bruces stuff.

The 2 Blaze Bayley albums are almost like hidden Iron Maiden albums for some - certainly this has been the case for me and they are the only two Maiden albums that I've never actually owned so these vinyl releases are a great excuse to check out them out. I've listened to these tracks online but this is the first time I've sat down and really listened intently. The first thing I'd say is that musically this is some of the most adventurous music Maiden has ever done with quite a few unique and unexpected twists and turns, this is also reflected in the production which throws a few curve balls here and there with some nice effects. This vinyl edition sounds fantastic, and as someone who was worried about the use of the 2015 remasters I can't imagine this one sounding any better. Blaze's performance varies a bit throughout the album, it can't of been an easy job to fill Bruce's shoes and you can hear some trepidation at times but you can also hear his performance grow in confidence on certain tracks. It's kinda cool to be getting to a know and Iron Maiden album that I have been neglecting for all these years - Virtual XI next...

Extremely beautiful material and great quality. Worth it for who is collector. And Amazon delivered without problems and very well packaged.
