So someone in my family threw away the lid that came with my 5 gallon water jug. I need a replacement lid and this was what I went with. It’s kind of hard to put over the top of the bottle, but with some pulling and tugging as possible. this will keep the dust out but don’t expect to carry the bottle by the handle, in other words sideways, and not have it come off and spill water everywhere. I strongly recommend you only use this lid on an upright bottle and do not tip the bottle or the lid will come off. Well, it basically serves the purpose, it isn’t exactly what I was hoping for.

I like that these caps can fit on both the screw top jugs and ones with a lip. I've bought two sets, and the first set seemed to do pretty well, but the second set leaks a little when the jugs are stored on their side. Putting a screw-on cap under the silicone cap helps with that.

These are very leak proof and stretchy with a very thick, dishwasher safe silicone. The package came with two, each in their own fitted cases so they can be kept sanitary when not in use.

Does not work. I even put the original cap on(the reason I bought these is because those caps had a slow leak) and the water still leaked when stored on its side-but says it would work upside down
