I really liked the fact that this book was easy to read, and was full of the information I was looking for. I am now fully confident that I can start an African Cichlid tank on my own after reading this very informative book. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in keeping African Cichlids. As an experienced fish keeper that has never kept Cichlids before, I found this to be very informative. This book was exactly what I was looking for!

I recently found Kevin's channel Kaveman Aquatics. The channel is amazing and this guy has a lot of free knowledge that he puts out there for his subscribers to view and watch. When he started promoting this book I went to Amazon and I had to buy it to get more knowledge of how to keep African Cichlids. I got this book and I started reading it the next day let me tell you I couldn't stop reading it. The Tips and tricks and just all the basic information he puts in this book was so valuable. It has definitely made me smarter on how to keep the south African Cichlids that I have. You can tell the passion and the thought process he put into the book from his years of keeping these fish. This book is meant for Beginners and Fish keepers new to keeping African Cichlids. Kevin goes from the beginning and how to set up the tank what you need and why. If you are looking at wanting to keep African Cichlids and have already started keeping them this book is for you. It is a very easy read and it's simple he explains what the terms mean in fish keeping. He goes over tank sizes for keeping these fish and how many. Anything you need to know it's in this book. I appreciate the read and the hard work that the author put into this and I can't wait for another book meant for people who have these fish established now what are the long term care and recommendations. This book is meant to be a beginners guide to keeping African Cichlids if you want to know what these beautiful fish are like buy this book you won't be disappointed.

Perhaps a year or so ago I found Kavmans videos on YouTube. They were informative and easy to implement in my tanks. The book is a delight to read both for the information contained and the manner in which Kevin writes. He's been a tremendous help to me even though initially I didn't have any cichlids ....he was always willing to give advice and encouragement. I highly recommend this book to any aquarium enthusiast who wants to give their fish the best life possible! Thank you for writing this book! So fish lovers purchase the book and check him out on YouTube as well!

Excellent product as advertised

December 15, 2022This book is definitely straight to the point, very easy to follow and so much information for all levels in the hobby. And if you follow this book, your fish will thrive and not just survive.

It's short and sweet and to the point, but there's nothing in here you can't find with a quick google search. It's poorly written with contradictions one sentence after the other in a few places. The author uses "lol" in the middle of sentences as if it's a text message, which I just found odd for a book.
