Nikwax spray Safe waterproofing sprayI've used this on my golf waterproofs that started leaking through a little on the shoulders, hung it on a hanger on the washing line and gave it a good spray over and it's been fine for the last 3 months, no nasty smells or staning on the jacket or anything negative, it just worked well and no more wet shoulders.Good product

Very easy to use, works so much better than any of the washes.A little messy and my hands were waterproof for a while after using so I'd recommend gloves.Only negative is you need most of the bottle for one jacket.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing product I applied it to my arcteryx Betw LT jacket and I got sprayed the other day and it was beading of perfectly with no wet out spot!!Highly recommend the product and will defo buy again.Remember to apply to a wet coat and wait for it to properly dry!!Or it doesn’t work

Washed my Berghaus coat a couple of times and noticed water wasn't beading any more on the outer fabric liner, after separating the inner liner from the outer and washing and drying it once more I took the outer outside and applied a liberal coating of this product and left it to drip dry before bringing it indoors - there is a slight chemical smell, neither pleasant nor unpleasant - smells a bit like kitchen or bathroom cleaner - goes after a couple of days. The coat is now waterproof - so works a treat. Apparently it can also be applied to a damp liner also - I just decided to dry it before applying

Used on my jacket after washing it with a specialist detergent. On application it is a little disconcerting as it can look a right mess. Follow the instructions to sponge off the excess or you will end up with white streaks after it dries. Very slight smell but disappears quickly once dry. I have worn the jacket through a shower and I was still dry at the end of it.

I managed to get two coats (one thigh length, one jacket) and a dog jacket done with one bottle and might have enough left for a pair of thin walking trousers - I don't want to risk it without having another bottle to hand in case I only get one leg done! The results have also been tested in a really heavy downpour and seems to have worked well apart from two spots on the dog's jacket which can't have got the coverage the rest of it had. So that's the user at fault, rather than the product.Nikwax do sell versions without a spray nozzle but I wouldn't recommend buying them until you're decanting it into a spray as it's a nightmare to get even distribution otherwise. I've merged an old bottle into the spray bottle now and found it so much easier to apply.
