Q: Are they heat resistant as my last waterproofs stuck to the exhaust

I just set them on fire to test for you. I am writing this from burns dept local hospital, so answer is no.

Q: what is the size of the extra large Berghaus Men's Deluge Waterproof Overtrousers

The trousers I bought were size large so I don't have any info on the XL fit.However my L size were plenty roomy for me - I usually take normal trousers in 34/36 waist and 31" length.Excellent product which I use for golf in the rain.

Q: How big is the difference between Large Long and Large Regular? I bought Long and they are too long, so wondering if i should order Regular instead.

Regular is 32 ins long. Long is 34 ins long.

Q: can the ankle be adjusted?

There is no adjustment at the ankle.
