This pillow is very well made, quite heavy and at first appears quite hard compared to my old pillows. How surprised I was at how comfortable it is. I suffer with neck ache and since sleeping on this pillow it’s not troubled me. I at last get a good nights sleeps. I would highly recommend it.

I was on the lookout for a luxury pillow that could help me with my recent neck and back problems, and waking headaches. I much prefer firm pillows, and ideally those that do not heat up drastically after only a few minutes of head contact.I went with the Silentnight Impress, despite a few underwhelmed reviews, as it was exactly the flat firmness that I was looking for. With an 8/10 score for firmness, it will be a "hard" pillow, but made entirely from dense memory foam, it conforms to the weight of your head and neck that will keep it supported. It is wonderfully broad, and comes with a lovely soft-touch cover.After only a few nights, my sleep has been the best it's been, and I look forward to nights knowing I won't wake up with a splitting headache or shoulder stiffness.I'm quite convinced that a lot of these poor reviews have not had a lot of experience with (e.g.) the difference between firmness and soft-touch, or memory foam density. Granted, this is a specific pillow for those like me who want and need a firmer, flatter head rest, but the pillow itself is an excellent purchase (especially for the recent reduction in price as of 19/1/19) for the exact pillow that it is, and shouldn't be blamed for being so with so many other Silentnight pillows on offer.If you know what you're getting, this is an excellent pillow that will not disappoint. Been looking for the right pillow for some time now and finally purchased this. A bit pricey for just 1 pillow but remembering that it is memory foam (and a great quality one) i dont mind spending the money. Comes in a lovely zipped bag, so perfect for storage. Although the outer carboard box that it got shipped in was unnessacerily big. The pillow is very firm but not too firm that its uncomfortable. My neck needs proper support when i am sleeping and this pillow is amazing for support. I am mostly a side sleeper and i feel memory foam is best for me. I love this pillow and am so glad i will finally get a decent nights sleep. I would of given this 5 stars but i feel for the price it maybe could be slightly thicker as i still have to use another pillow underneath.

My order of Silentnight Impress Deluxe Memory Foam Pillow arrived next day with my Amazon Prime Membership account. As with almost all memory foam products there is a slight smell that usually disappears within 48 hours. The pillow itself was purchased because I managed to leave my other one on a course! The price tag is great considering what you would pay on the high street for one of these. The pillow is a lot firmer than what I am used to, so it took a bit of adjustment to get used to it, but now its perfect. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of the pillow and should I ever lose one again I will buy from this seller again.Disclosure: I work hard to leave detailed, helpful reviews. As soneone with eds and fibromyalgia I have struggled to find the right pillows fir years and I'm fed up of buying new pillows every other month. Decided to give these ago and I'm absolutely over the moon. Nice and firm perfect memory foam pillows, neck and shoulders already feel so much better after just 2 nights. Highly recommend to anyone with neck and shoulder pain these are absolutely amazing.

This memory foam pillow would be comfortable if it were thicker, however, it's simply too thin which makes it very uncomfortable to sleep on as it does not support your head above your shoulder.The pillow also comes with a strong; but not overpowering, smell so it would be advisable to leave the pillow out to air for a good few hours before use; this is fairly standard with most memory foam pillows.Although I returned this pillow quickly, I believe that breathability will be an issue for some as it does not allow air to pass through with ease, which if you're a side sleeper, it can cause a vacuum effect whereby you can't hear much through the ear that you're laying on which means the other ear feels more sensitive or you'll just hear the sound of the blood and other bodily sounds more clearly. This was notably more disconcerting to me than the thickness of the pillow.

When this pillow arrived, I was worried by how thin and solid they were. However, I decided to try it out for a couple of nights just to see if I like them.I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it made my back feel. I had been having issues with my old pillow that was a lot thicker. But these thinner pillows align my back much more naturally and while the pillows are hard when you first put your head down on them, they mould to support your head for a surprisingly comfy feel.I don't think these pillows will be for everyone, as the pillows are not flexible in the slightest. Making sleeping with an arm under the pillow, or even trying to bend them at all when you sleep on your side, kind if awkward. But, if you are having issues with your current pillow, then I would highly recommend giving these a go.I'll also add that the shipping was on time and with no issues at all. Which is a good plus considering my awkward shipping location.
