Yellowstone 10 Litre Jerrycan

This pair of 10L plastic jerry-cans seal really well, because when the lid is screwed down tightly, there is not even the slightest smell coming from the petrol stored inside.

Really happy with this replacement Jerry can. It's well made and very sturdy. It also came with a pour spout which I didn't realise it came with so a nice touch. It was very slightly wider than our last one but fit in our camper much better.

Perfect for water when travelling

Needed a Jerrycan to hold water for a kid's forest school, to save in trekking backwards and forwards to main school building for hand washing etc during the lesson. Had to think about weight when full as it needs to be taken by hand out to field area, so this drove decision for 10L.Positives:Arrived as promised and this is a sturdy jerrycan, made of good quality plastic with relevant food use markings, supplied with cap and pouring spout as per illustration.Negatives:Other buyers have reported that there is a bung inside the cap which needs to be removed for filling. Mine did not have this, nor did the cap have a rubber seal inside, a problem that other buyers have also reported. The result is that the jerrycan leaks if not upright. For me this not a problem as I also purchased a tap: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01F93N7MA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which we needed and will be used whenever the jerrycan is in use. This did have a seal inside and so solves the leak problem. If I had just wanted to use it as a jerrycan, I'm not sure if I would have returned it or tried to find/ create a seal - there is space in the cap that you could fill with either silicone sealant or Sugru that when dry would possibly allow you create a seal that would fix the leak or you will have to source a rubber O-ring

Bought my first one and the sealing cap was broken. Got a refund without sending an item back and reordered. The second one arrived with the sealing cap also broken. I do not have time to send back and replace due to work so now am down the money as it is not fit for purpose. Can seems good but sealing cap material is terrible

Just the right size for what we required.

Perfect for the purpose. Had to improvise with making a washer / Gasket for the lid to contain the water during transit otherwise its fine.

It’s a good size for my be campervan. May even purchase another.
