Camelbak Chute Water Transportation Cap

I bought this for my new Camelbak glass bottle, as I don't always need the straw. This fits and works a treat, although I don't use the strap piece around the neck. The top when I take it off can easily be slotted into the handle so that's what I prefer.

Quick screw open/shut. Does not leak. Used on a Gelert water bottle. Cap out of the way when open. Very good product

Fits exactly on the bottle I have, where the plastic teat had become quite worn and dirty. The opening is quite large so might not be very good for running or cycling as you might get spills.

This is my camelbak eddy bottle with the chute lid on.I'm so pleased I bought it! The bite valve lid is great but was getting hard to get really clean. Plus when I inevitably dropped the bottle the bit that goes in my mouth would get dirty which was grim.This is super easy to use and doesn't leak at all.

I bought this cap for my ageing bottle, only to find that the bottle leaked with this cap.Scouring the web I found that they 'should' be leakproof, so I contacted Camelbak who referred me to the UK distributors / warranty agent. The warranty agent spent over a week arguing that the item was not leak proof and that the bottle must be kept upright to avoid leakage. Despite sending them links and screenshots of camelback's website this continued, until they eventually agreed to accept it back.It's such a simple item I'm amazed they've managed to mess it up. The camelbak website seems to suggest it's leakproof but given I managed to ruin a load of expensive text books and soak my iPad, I'd personally not take the risk!I ended up with a Nalgene OTF bottle which is easier to use one hand and is actually leakproof, as opposed to these useless items.

Works well. The squeeze mouth piece on our original bottle was getting so smelly. This is easy to clean but it’s more difficulty to drink out of and I think the plastic thing which keeps the cap attached won’t last long

I was ready to bin my Eddy bottle as the grime build up in the bite/straw was forever a problem and I was worried about hygiene. This lid fits perfectly and has saved me forking out for a brand new bottle! I'm really pleased with this replacement - so much easier to clean and chunky and strong. We're going to replace all of our Eddy lids with these ones now.
