Great little filter. Value for money and keeps water clear for nearly 2 weeks! (20L tank)
After reading the reviews was a bit unsure but thought I’d give it a go. Great little filter. Worked out how to put it together as my old one was similar. I have a 20L tank and works well. I now clean the filter when I do the tank once every two weeks. It did get a bit blocked after the first 2 weeks but sent a message and got a message back explaining what to do!

Does the job
Would help if instructions on how to put together & use came with the pump. I had to look online. Works ok, doing the job I need it for. It’s noisy tho, I’ve tried moving it around.

Loud, bad quality, sounds broken from the start, dont bother
The few bad reviews on here I chalked up to people being fussy about noise.I stupidly ignored them and purchased.From the start, the pump didn't work, it just sat there vibrating, I took the filter housing off to look at the impeller and it was just vibrating back and forward, technical term is cogging. I span it with my finger and it started working. Put it back together, and it stopped working almost instantly, again just vibrating.I left it a few hours just to see if it would sort itself out. Eventually it did, but then there was a horrible grinding noise. The housing around the impeller kept coming lose. I ended up gluing it in to stop it falling off and jamming. Finally the pumps working now. A day later its making a horrible noise, I think the motors gone.Its a shame as I like the design of the pump (the adjustable flow and bubbler) but obviously really cheap quality.I dont have the time to return it for a refund. Otherwise I would.

Bad design
On first impression the filter looked ok and the additional spray bar looked good. However the suction cups on the back of the body are only at the top of the pump so the slightest nudge and it falls off the glass leaving it vibrating against the side of the tank. Not ideal, an additional sucker on the bottom of the unit would help.Also the unit comes with a really short power cable , my tank isn’t very high and the plug does not reach the socket.Suppose you get what you pay for.
