These are great for our household! My wife cannot handle 4 pints milk jugs (lest to say 6 pints), and at the current prices, 2 pints milk costs about the same as 4 pints, so no way are we going to rely on 2 pints milk jugs.This is where the milk bottles comes in handy. They fit perfectly in the fridge. The top cap fits snugly, so we are yet to experience leaks. They are washable and durable. The opening of the bottle is sufficiently large enough to easily pour milk into them without the use of a funnel.The milk bottles are easily washed, either by hand or in the dishwasher (but do pay attention to the threading where milkdrops may congeal; also, the seller does not recommend washing the lids in the dishwasher). We then scald them, leave them to dry a bit, and them pop them in the freezer. When we then bring home a fresh jug of milk, it is quick to re-pour the milk into the glass bottles, while keeping the milk as cold as possible.An added advantage of the milk bottles are that we do not have to leave out 4 or 6 pints of milk on the breakfast table while eating breakfast (or lunch or dinner), where the milk will slowly warm. Instead, the maximum amount is 1 L.On the con side, there is a mismatch between the whole litres of the milk bottles and the 4 or 6 pints (approx. 2.2 and 3.4 litres), but in practice the remainder can be poured on a previous set of milk (oh oh, mixing!) or just left in the jug, at which point the jug is a handable size.

Really nice bottles that are handy for a large variety of uses. Packed Really well as delivery person just dropped on stone floor in porch and all survived!

These are great bottles. At one litre they are oversized if you are thinking of standard milk bottles. That might work for you. It does for me.The only downside is that after 3 months the lids have started to corrode. The other reviewer who mentioned lid corrosion used a dishwasher. I did not. So it seems to be a generic weakness. Replacement lids seem to be available at a reasonable price on Amazon, so this is just a factor to consider.

I use these for homemade non dairy milk, broth, water infused with herbs and have even used them for Pimms to bring on a picnic.The bottles are very nice looking, they're good quality, they fit in the shelf in the fridge and they go straight in the dishwasher for an easy clean (not sure it actually says they're dishwasher safe though).

This is a bargain of a product - you get 6 bottles in one pack which comes to about £3 per bottle. For this price, the quality of the bottle and the lid is really really good. The lids hold up milk even in the horizontal position and they really seal liquid without it pouring out. The glass bottles are relatively easy to clean by hand as the mouth of the bottles are wide enough to get a brush down.The only downside is that you have to buy 6 bottles rather than 3 or 4 but for £3 a bottle it is a pretty good deal!

Amazing! I am shocked to have had the bottles delivered so quickly and also in perfect condition. Each bottle was individually wrapped in tissue paper, bubble wrap to also keep them safe. Felt like a lot of care and attention had been taken to deliver them in perfect condition. The bottles are perfect. You can feel they are thick glass and a very good quality. I bought them to store homemade oat milk and juices. The lids screw on well and keep everything water tight. Only had the bottls a few days, but I feel they are going to last a long time. Also due to the wide neck, they are really easy to clean.
