VonHaus Stove Fan – Log Burner Fire Fan for Wood Burning Stoves, Fireplaces, Stove Heaters – 4 Blades, Silent Operation, Eco Friendly, Heat Powered, Energy Saving

I was in the cafe of our local garden centre and noticed one of these stove fans on their stove so I thought I'd try one for our stove in our lounge. The Vonhaus had the best reviews and we have owned Vonhaus products in the past so I bought it. I didn't exactly have high expectations but I was amazed.... It warmed up and started working very quickly and the amount of heat the fan pushed out really surprised me. I'm certain that it made our lounge quite a bit warmer and made far better use of the heat from the stove. I've even used it on top of the electric heater that we have in our study and it works on that too! It appears to be very well made from quality materials and is almost completely silent (which doesn't seem to be the case with other makes). Highly recommended!! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

We read a few reviews and made some comparisons and chose this one. It arrived early the next day, well packaged. It is a smart-looking product. Once the stove is up to temperature, the fan automatically starts. There is no sound of motor, gears, bearings, etc. Of course, with 4 curved blades passing through the air at high speed, there is some slight wind noise but it is barely noticeable and certainly not a distraction. Circulates the warm air nicely. Wish we'd bought one of these years ago.

Bought 2 fans as they need to be placed to sides of chimney, rather than in front to obtain better temperature differential and hence faster fan speed. There wasn't muchroom available on the top of log burner so the small Vonhaus footprint worked well. The fans kicked in about 10 minutes after lighting the burner and ran very quietly. They direct the heat by convectional currents around a large room, so you don't depend just on the radiant heat directly coming out from the log burner window.As with all brands of fans, remember to pick them up with the handle once they get hot to avoid getting burnt.

Had been putting off buying a stove fan for quite a few years now, but finally decided to take the plunge as we recently felt that there were cold spots in the room and I felt that most of the heat was been wasted going up the chimney.I decided on the Von Haus fan purely on the fact that it had good reviews and is was cheap enough not to matter too much if it proved to be a white elephant!The fan seems well built and operation couldn't be easier, simply take it out the box and put it on the stove!It starts working very quickly and to my surprise and despite my reservations it definitely distributes the warm air around the room and creates a much more balanced heat environment.My one tip tip to anyone using one is wait until your fire is hot before using it, as it is so effective it blows the cold air at you until the stove gets up to temperature!

The media could not be loaded. So far - it’s the first day of use on top of my wood-burner - the fan is quiet and effective, and I certainly feel that the heat is better distributed around the space than without it.A worthwhile purchase, not expensive and strongly recommended.(The attached video doesn’t help much, I’m afraid.)

These are simply brilliant and once they get going you do really feel a difference to the heat in the room. They are so quiet when working you really do not notice them. They are very well made quality wise and at a great price as well. Many thanks

Well to be quite truthful, I ordered 2 - despite my Brother in Law - saying - Don't bother - Waste of money. But he is a Heating Engineer and naturally knows it all. Not this time Ole Boy.!! I/we were really surprised at how much of a difference these two Fans put on the top of the Small Woodburner we have. We just open all of the doors and our Two Bed Bungalow gets as warm as toast - AND we are using less wood too. Two nights ago it got up to 28.5c in here. Extraordinary.An Absolute No-Brainer. Get your Digit on that Keyboard ASAP. You will be very pleased you did. We are.
