Beautiful subdued rainbow strands, more delicate than usual.
UPDATE: I changed my review to 5 stars. This is a unique and beautiful color blend and it's one of my favorite ones to offer to customers. At first I thought it was too delicate, but I continued to use it, it can last a long time if you are gentle with the install and brushing.*************If you have one of the typical megapack tinsel starter kits, you have the swatch that is metallic rainbow--each strand moves from aqua to gold to magenta. This is a more metallic pastel version of that. It is GORGEOUS and would be so beautiful in blonde hair, but is great for other hair colors too. It looks modern and sophisticated.A few caveats: it is more delicate than the typical strands. It is very floaty. At $10 a pack, I do think it's a little overpriced, however, I can see this being a very popular pick, so if you have the customers, go for it.

SOO pretty!!
I ordered these because I had been seeing that hair tinsel was coming back! I have LONG thick blonde hair, and just wanted a pretty glimmer of gold to put in my hair. Let me just explain a few things about these tinsel strands.1. The tinsel itself does NOT actually curl. You can use the curling iron (or straightener and blow dryer) on them while curling your own actual hair. They won't melt, or singe onto your hair. They can certainly withstand the heat (I wouldn't use too high of heat though)... they just don't actually curl themselves. What makes them "seem" curled, is when you curl them with your hair, they kind of follow the curl pattern in your hair.. making them seem a little bit curled.2. You can apply these either by microbead, or by knotting them in your hair. I know how to do both methods. I originally got these thinking that I would have my husband help me tie them in. After watching some videos, and experimenting with them on some old hair extensions.. I realized that if you properly tie them to the 3-5 strand of hairs, they are REALLY in there, and probably aren't going to fall out. There is no clear way to get them out safely without taking those 3-5 hairs with it. I tried sliding the tinsel off the hair extensions I put them in, and they weren't coming out without taking hair with it. AND, the tinsel knots are SOOOO tiny, there aren't scissors small enough to cut the tinsel off the hair without (again) taking the hair with it. I decided that I didn't really want to tie them in.Instead, I thought of this brilliant idea to actually tie the tinsel to some extra hair extension clips I had (just clips off of a clip in hair extension piece). BRILLIANT!!! Now, I can put the glimmer in and take it out anytime I want without taking hair out with them! This is the best way to do it, I think!! I really have enjoyed wearing them, and have gotten lots of compliments on them! It is just the right amount of glimmer! You can have a lot of strands, and do several “tinsel clip ins” for a more dramatic look, or just do a couple “tinsel clip ins” wherever you want! See attached pictures.3. Only remove one tinsel piece at a time from the package. If you take them all out of the package, they are a mess and are impossible to get lined back up and into the package again!

Fun and sparkle
I wanted a little pop of “fun” without changing my hair color. These were perfect! I got so many compliments and they were easy to place and remove.

Too expensive
The tinsel is nice and works well, especially if you know how to tie properly. But it’s too expensive. I paid $10 for the coppery color and you can get a pack of multicolor, which provides much more tinsel, for $8. Not worth the money compared to the value pack

Very copper
The holographic effect is great, but make no mistake, these are very copper. The online photo shows them being kind of a coppery, brownish color, but there is no brownish. These are very bold, very copper.

Not the amount advertised
No way this is 100 strands unless you are counting it folded in half or something?! Love love love the color but for $10 I feel scammed. It’s $30 for a kit with 8 colors that have 3x as much strands. Very frustrating

Perfect for brown hair
Love so much! Met my exact expectations. Any review saying it tangles or doesnt stay in (is not using the product properly- dont be an incompetent person and then leave a bad review-seriously just watch a video)the most popular silver / gold /pastel strands are best suited for shades of blonde because color contrast is lowest- so the sparkle is more subtle and well-blended. But those bright metallics appear way more stark on brunettes. It was hard to find brown tinsel strand options, but the “sparkle brown” color from this brand gives the exact blended sparkle i was hoping for! Fun little rainbow fish affect, has some copper undertones which are fun to play up for those with warmer toned brown or auburn hair

I love these so many compliments
There are not enough good things I can say about this tensile. They are long enough that you can fold them in half and they're still very long I have very long hair and they fit perfectly I don't have to trim them or anything. I always get so many compliments when I put these in and I just tie them in I don't do anything fancy I just tie them to my actual hair and let them fall out naturally. For my brunettes out there who want an extra little something for their hair this is perfect it's so subtle but I also get so many compliments whenever I wear them. I also buy other colors to wearing my hair because as a Burnett I can't keep up with the maintenance to dye my hair different colors so I just use tensile instead for a little pop where and there
