The Toilet Accessory I Never Knew I Needed!
I never would’ve thought that I would be writing a review for a toilet seat, but here we are. This thing is awesome and I had to share! I didn’t know what I had been missing all these years. Only issue is since we’ve installed it I have noticed my family spends more time in the bathroom…A friend of ours has a bidet / washlet and is always talking about it, even at dinner (awkward I know right?). So I decided to do some research even if it was just so I could have a knowledgeable conversation with him about it (LOL). Turns out after doing some research, seems people other than my friend really love these things so I decided I would give it a shot. Now I didn't want to spend too much on this but I also didn't want to get a cheap unit from a company I'd never heard of before. That's what lead my to this unit from Toto. Also the other challenge I ran into is we have a Kohler Santa Fe toilet and the bowl on it is curved so there was some concern that these units may not even fit on my toilet. But this KC2 unit looked like it would fit and had some nice features so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. The install was really easy. The seat has a nice adjustable plate that makes it simple to fit on different sized toilets. With a little adjustment, the seat fits great on my Santa Fe as you can see in the pictures. The only issue I had was my bathtub is real close to our toilet so hooking up the water line was a tight fit. After one trial and error (with a leak), I decided to connect the water line and the washlet line to the adapter first, the screw the adapter to the bowl. That solved the problem and to me was an easier way to do it. It took me just about 35 minutes from the time I started the install to the time I was able to wet and warm my backside. The heated seat is an awesome feature especially in the winter. The water spraying on my under carriage, well that takes some getting used to. It still surprises me every time even though I know it's coming. But it works great once you get comfortable with it. The washlet has some nice features to that you can change the pressure and temperature of the water to your liking. There is also a drying feature that helps dry you off a little. There is even a special cleaning feature for the ladies! The only other thing is the seat is a little smaller than I'm used to but it's not bad and is real comfortable to sit on.So in the end, I'm surprised how much I like this washlet. But I really do. We stayed in a hotel over the weekend, and I'm embarrassed to say I missed my toilet seat (LOL). Just feel fresher and cleaner during the day and have not had any chaffing now that I'm using a lot less toilet paper during the week. I'm looking forward to talking toilet seats with my friends at dinner now!

Worth the cost
When I remodeled my basement with a new bathroom, I installed an outlet by the toilet for a toilet bidet. The Toto Washlet is great. It was easy to install and is easy to use. It took a few times to figure out how to best use it's features, but I have it dialed in and it works very well for me.

Best Purchase I've Made
This electronic bidet toilet seat has transformed my bathroom experience. The heated seat is pure luxury, especially during chilly mornings, and the SoftClose lid is a fantastic feature that prevents any loud slamming. The bidet functions are adjustable, allowing for a customized clean that feels refreshing and hygienic. Installation was straightforward, and the sleek design fits perfectly with my bathroom decor. If you’re considering upgrading your toilet seat, I highly recommend this one—it’s worth every penny!

Good, but...
The good:-Looks beautiful-Does the job-Convenient remote location (also a con - keep reading)-I got it on saleThe bad:-Remote sits on the side and is not removable. I have an older Toto Washlet on the other bathroom and the remote is handheld so you won't have to twist your body to read the buttons next to your butt.-Side button location could be inaccessible if you have a big butt. Worse, your big butt can cover the buttons and might even accidentally press them.-The "feel" of the water splash is kinda pointed and feels like you're being assaulted. My other Toto Washlet has a milder feel. Put this thing on Max and it's really strong.-For some reason, this thing tends to tilt to one side of the bowl. Could be the design, not sure.-The butt dryer is a letdown. It will NOT dry your butt at all, unless you want to sit there for 10 minutes. Also it will blow the poop air upwards to your face and you'd smell it. This is a terrible concept. If they had put a wifi speaker there or LED instead of a fan, that'd be more useful.

I should have bought a Toto Washlet a long time ago!
I never had much interest in using or buying a bidet but when we remodeled our bathroom last year, I decided to install a new electrical outlet near the toilet just incase I ever changed my mind about installing a bidet. Good thing I did.During my international travel last month every hotel I stayed at had a bidet in the bathroom. I got used to the warm toilet seat and warm water to the point when I decided to buy one. There are a lot of good brand bidets but I decided on a Toto, who have been making bidets since the 1980s. This is also the brand used in the hotels I stayed in.Installation was straight forward but I ordered two different T-adaptors just incase the supplied fitting was a different size than the American Standard flush valve connection. The Toto hose fitting fit perfectly so I will be returning the adaptors. The only problem I had (not with the Toto), was inserting one long rubber grommet into the toilet. The instructions show a diagram indicating to wet the grommet. That didn't work so I used some silicon grease I had previously bought from Amazon, and greased up, I was able get the grommet through the toilet rim.The other hole was slightly larger and the grommet inserted without much resistance. Because the hole was slightly larger, when tightening the screw down it lifted the grommet out of the hole and allowed the toilet seat to wiggle side to side so I wound up using the factory American Standard grommet. Fortunately it had the same thread pattern and it allowed me to tighten down the seat securely. After the installation I tried it out and made adjustments to the heated seat and water temperature. I showed my girlfriend how to use the settings. After she tried it, she liked it.Glad I finally got one.
