Works Perfect for our needs, Great Product and easy to use

Needed to modify throttle hole slightly to use original linkage. No big deal. Carb works well. linkage that would have worked was supplied, but would have required substantial disassembly to change it. Many unneeded parts supplied, but price is so low, that doesn't matter, either. One complaint is absolutely no instructions supplied. Needed to pull choke plate out, in order to change alternate supplied spindle. Easy to do it, but finding method might be a big challenge, without mechanical background.

It worked great easy install no adjustment needed. My generator never ran this good on the old carburetor. Great price don't waste your time on the old carburetor trying to clean it etcA waste of your time. Just get this one and your done in about 20 minutes.

I've purchased a total of 4 of these carburetors to install on 4 Troy Bilt 5500 Generators.My biggest complaint is the hole where the governor linkage goes on the rear butterfly, has a linkage retainer THAT IS TOTALLY USELESS !!!!The linkage WILL NOT go into the linkage retainer !!!My second concern is more of complaint towards CHINA, the manufacturer home producer of these carburetors.It's hard to hold the seller of this product responsible for CHINA'S QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES !!!!3 of the 4 operated perfectly after installation, after making some improvements on the governor linkage hole to retain the linkage.I of the 4 is JUNK !!!With all of these low cost carburetors offered in the market today for myriad of applications from weekenders, pole trimmers, chainsaws, lawnmowers, and generators, you really get your money's worth with all the extras you get with the carburetors.Sparkplug, Fuel Filter, Fuel Shutoff Valve, Fuel Line, Air Filter, Gaskets, Linkage, and Wide Variety of Throttle Levers you are getting more than your money's worth.It is my deduction that you have an 80% to 90% chance of getting a total functional carburetor in the Chineese Aftermarket !!!
