DMV Lumaserter Plus for Scleral and Hybrid Lens (1 Inserter Only)

I saw this on a Kerataconus group page on Facebook. I thought I’d give it a try since I was having a lot of trouble inserting Scleral len in my eye. This was best thing I purchased on Amazon. It is now so very easy to insert the lens. I definitely recommend this for Scleral lens people.UpdateA few weeks after purchasing this the light went out. I don’t see where you are able to change the batteries. It is a shame because I really liked using it with the light also, but I am still using it without light and helps so much inserting the lens

A great idea, but didn't work as I had hoped. The angle is too steep. I understand the steep angle keeps you from blinding yourself with the light, but a lesser angle would have worked better for me and still kept the light directly from the eye. It was difficult to keep the sclera lens on the insertion tip. The penlight is bulky to use, something smaller like a keychain light would have been easier for me to handle.

Do not like the design. Do not like the angle and the length is too long. If it was not on an angle and shorter length it would be perfect

I really would give this product five stars. The only reason it is four stars is because it would have been the ultimate product functionality to have the pin light turn off and on with a click versus having to press the lapel clip down simultaneously guiding the pan toward the eye Since the lapel clip is in an ideal location. It’s not bad holding it down while inserting your lens into your eye otherwise this pin light is the best gadget for individuals, especially with kerataconus and challenges with scleral lens insertion and light sensitivity. The light is extremely easy on the eye and although it has a slant on the lens holder, it actually worked out perfect because I use the pin light side Ways versus inserting straight in north and south I love this gadget will be purchasing another to carry in my purse and possibly another just to have on hand. You can even use the insertion plunger on your finger, which is amazing highly highly highly recommend this product.

Purchased for my daughter who has a developmental disability. She was using the expensive lighted inserter, but I wanted something that she could carry with her in case she needed to change during the day. This new device worked perfect. And it is very affordable. decent quality works well, and easy to carry with you highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this flashlight and insertion tool. It has made my ability to put in my scleral so much easier. I even showed this to my scleral lens specialist and she took a picture for her team because she was so excited to see this; however, I have now ordered two additional packs of three and out of those three of the Flashlights are broken within less than two weeks.

The inserting tool that holds the lens for inserting has a tiny light to stare at to help center it on your eye. The small plunger gets it out.
