Rite in the Rain Weatherproof CORDURA Fabric Notebook Cover, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", MultiCam Cover (No. C980M)

So of course when I saw this waterproof cover for my waterproof book I had to have it lol! It’s a great book cover for my write in the rain field book. It keeps my book clean which is the main reason I purchased it. Keeps some items handy pen, ruler, etc... Excellent build quality which it should be for price and I’m only assuming that Write in the rain would have it that way since their QC is superb! It doesn’t add too much bulk to the book and I can still throw it in my back pocket while in the field to document my notes or shoot grades. So far it has held up well and I do recommend it! A little pricy for what it is but if you submit or save your field books like I do as a reference, it’s nice to submit a clean book. I purchased in the coyote color which is a more tactical look and I really love the color. It hasn’t faded in the sun and can easily be wiped down and cleaned if I happen to drop it in the mud.

It's such a pleasant surprise for a product to actually arrive as expected and do what it's supposed to do. I'm glad to have this little item to keep my writing tools and Rite-in-the-Rain notebook. I also have a few pens, a small knife, and can swap out other items. So pleased to add this to my everyday carry list.And the zipper actually closes up as it should. So many other products like this look good but are just unusable because either they fall apart, or you can't put anything in them, or if you do the zipper won't close... but not this one. Great product.

Good cover but I ordered the wrong one so I gave it to a disabled vet, put paracord on zipper and heavy duty velcro for name or other patch...

IMO I don't like how keeping pens in the pen holder thickens it, so I tend only to keep one. But it's durable, well-made, a perfect fit for the same-size notepads they make, and slim, so long as you don't stuff it full (duh). At first I thought it was pricey for what the item is, but they're probably not as mass-produced as what you'll find in box stores, and the materials and assembly is top-notch. If you truly want something durable to keep your notes safe on the road, this is great.

Good journal cover well stitched light-weight but think Cordura.One thing I dont like is the Rite in the Rain tags leave a noticeable hole in the Cordura cover when the tag is removed. Ive noticed this in all 4 ivd bought so far of the diff sizes in coyote tan color.

I purchased this for my son who is currently in ARMY boot camp. I also purchased a 3 x 5 Rite in the Rain Notebook, a 5 x 7 Rite in the Rain Notebook and a Rite in the Rain Pen. I'm not exactly sure on the exact size of the 5 x 7 notebook, but it fits perfectly inside the case. The 3 x 5 notbook fits perfect in the compartment at the top and it holds the pens securely . I only purchased 1 Rite in the Rain pen but I added other pens to the notebooks and they fit perfectly. The color of the print seems to be a faded army print. It isnt thick material, but feels durable. Inside it has 2 side compartments, one on each side. On one side I added a notebook, the other side would be great for letters and stamps. It zips very smoothly. This notebook will definitley hold more inside to store in it than what I added to it. Great gift items to send in a care package if your son is serving our country!! The quality is excellent and the shipping was very fast! Thank you!

It does exactly what it says it does. Water proof. Got it for my mini bible that i keep in my truck. Highly recommend this.
