Easy Snap Lid Bokashi Compost Kit

Like the unit, first time user. The lid latches can be temperamental, have to fiddle with them sometimes to get them to latch. It took almost 3wks. for the fermentation process to begin, that’s when I found out that the spigot leaks. Now that it’s producing liquid I have to keep a cup underneath to catch the drippings no matter what i try, it doesn’t seal. Can’t keep it indoors with a leaking valve, it attracts fruit flies.

Did not arrive with the easy snap lid that was advertised.

Shipping was delayed a week. Spigot leaks. Stinky bokashi juice all over my kitchen floor.

I have 2 of these buckets and love them! I chose this system because of the easy snap lid and bucket material. It's a nice manageable size that I keep in a pull out drawer under my kitchen cabinet. I can't even imagine using a bucket without this super easy lid, with a great gasket to make the system air tight.The tool included is very strong and well made. The bran is excellent and I will continue to purchase this brand bran. There is no foul odor and the bran is working as it is suppose to. I like the strainer in this bucket as well. I have had no issues with food getting into the liquid collection.Customer service is amazing. They are there to help with all your questions about the product and your composting journey.
