A must have for a Shoei Neotech II Helmet!
This system provides a clean perfect fit in the Shoei Neotech II with easy pairing to our IPhones and second system with great sound.Installation is simple but I recommend watching a YouTube video rather than understanding the printed instructions. You must update the firmware; to do this you need a type C cable plugged into the Sena and then direct to your computer…the charging cord will NOT perform for this…I tried several times lol. The plain cable works like a charm, you don’t need the device shown in the instructions!Read the voice commands prior to using to avoid a bit of frustration.Note that you can voice control the Sena as well as Siri via the Sena microphone.A big thank you to the vendor and FedEx as well; this was the first time we have ever actually received a next day delivery the day after ordering! :-)

Awesome awesome awesome
I've had the previous Sena models and they've just been okay. The quality of the audio was always good but the connection was always a pain. The new mesh system however is amazing. And the flush system in the Shoei helmet is nothing short of immaculate. 100% better than cardo any day of the week. I'm thinking about putting my application in to Sena to work there because this product kicks so much ass.I really think we've entered a new phase of helmet communicators with the mesh systems. I was thinking about holding out for the SRL3 that is already out in Europe, but I'm 100% satisfied with this mesh system. My only complaint is that I waited so long to get it.

Integrate nicely
I wear ear plugs under my helmet and the volume on max is barely enough to hear with wind noise. Without my ear plugs, it's incredibly loud. Not a whole lot of bass with music but didn't expect too much.

Better Than Expected!
This is my first helmet speaker setup and it’s awesome. Installation is simple with several online videos to follow and you can hardly notice the controls on the outside. It just looks way better than a big control unit stuck to the side of the helmet. Pairing was a breeze. Performance is where I was surprised. The sound is clear with plenty of volume; I normally only start mine at 50% and let it auto adjust when I speed it. Zero trouble hearing everything, even going 70mph on my Speed Triple. Music and audiobooks/podcasts sound excellent and I don’t have to deal with my headphones shifting every time I put my helmet on anymore. Not cheap but I ride to commute everyday so this setup is worth it for my Neotec 2.

Buyer Beware!
Buyer beware! The unit I purchased was tagged as new but I believe it was a refurbished unit, more on this. The install isn't as simple as one would like considering it's made for the Shoei GT Air II. It took over an hour plus me watching several YouTube videos to finally get it working. I ended up doing a RMA with Sena for my unit because once I hit 30 mph all I hear is amplified road noise coming through the speakers, plus anyone talking to me comes through garbled but when I talk to them they say my voice comes through clear. Now about the refurbished unit. When I was doing the RMA I had to provide the serial number to the unit. I noticed that the serial number on the packaging and the serial number for the unit itself didn't match. I also noticed that the seller tried to mark through the barcodes and serial numbers of the packaging. FYI, in order to get a replacement with Sena you have to first send them your damaged unit before they send you a replacement.

Constant issues and horrible service.
Purchased this on Dec 31st 2022. I have had constant issues. The first problem was the WiFi cable quit working. Can still use without the WiFi adapter, but it needs that for firmware updates. I would think not a big deal, but I was wrong. The headset started to randomly quit working after I'd have it on for a while. Sena wanted me to do an update...can't update the firmware when it's taking them 3 months to send a new cable. Finally get the new cable, do the update and of course it doesn't fix it (firmware won't fix a hardware failure (broken wire in the speaker, but they won't listen to me). Three weeks of emails and hours of phone calls with still zero resolution. Bottom line product is ok at best when it works. Customer service is wretched at best.

SOUNDS GREAT
I had a choice - replaced 1999 Goldwing stereo or try this. I made to right choice!! It does more than a replacement stereo could do and sounds GREAT!! Make / Answer calls - use WAZE and hear directions. Listen to streaming music - need i say more - GET ONE!

Fantastic Sound Quality
I'm not really sure how people are getting poor results with this setup in a shoei helmet. The helmet is great for reducing external noise, and properly installed speakers are loud enough to do hearing damage if I turn it up the volume all the way. The sound quality in this setup is allows me to hear my audiobooks well past 80mph and music clarity is good at any speed. Don't believe the haters. This is a great comms systems.
