Q: Does the chuck have a pass through hole 10mm or larger for longer rods to be used in the lathe? I need to be able to size down 230mm length rods.

It has a pass through hole but only 6mm

Q: Where do we purchase replacement cutting bits, blades, etc or does this thing use same as full size tools ?

The existing tool is .164 square by ~ 2" long. It can be reshaped with a grinding wheel. There wasn't a extra tool order form with the unit. There are cutter sets available from Grizzley and Harbor Freight Tools, but I have not ordered yet
