I got these "alligator" forceps because I was working on a fountain pen and needed to remove a spring from inside the pen barrel at the base of it. These worked perfectly for that.

These are amazingly well made, and precise for the price. The jaws align perfectly, and work smoothly. Fit and finish seem more suited to pliers that would cost more.
