I appreciate this being available for purchase on amazon! Items like this save us so much money and help keep our appliances working as they should. The spring on our Samsung french door fridge went out for the flap that helps keep the cold air in. A quick amazon purchase and a youtube video got us back up and working! Being able to fix our own stuff without having to call an appliance repair person saves us so much money. I have noticed that we live in a "throw away" culture. People are reluctant to fix items, instead they just throw them out and buy new. Most things just need a little love or a small part like a spring to get back up and working.

Fit perfectly and worked well
Had to replace the broken spring on my Samsung refrigerator door and went with this one. This spring didn't have the same number of turns but fit and worked great. Has only been installed for a few days and it's working well. Would recommend.

Fix your refrigerator door with this low cost spring replacement
My Samsung refrigerator warranty had just expired when my door flapper spring broke. A quick search for an OEM replacement product showed that Samsung wanted $150 for a new door flapper. After seeing all of the complaints of the door flapper spring breaking, I knew it was a design flaw.Fortunately, there are many DIY videos on YouTube on how to fix this. I followed the instructions on the video and had the spring replaced in 15 minutes. I bought this 2 piece replacement kit knowing it will probably break again in a few years. I will have to reconsider purchasing a refrigerator with this door setup next time I buy a new one.

Worked for me.
Five stars it is. At least for now. Others say these are weak, I say they aren't. In fact, they weren't all that easy to put on. Mine seem very strong and work like a boss. So strong they hurt my fingers as I was trying to bend them into their place. Had to use some pliers to assist me. Hopefully they will stand the test of time.
